Good morning everyone,.I just received my WES report and I have a little concern..i dont know if i should be worried or not. On it was written; THE NAMES ON ONE OR MORE OF THE ACADEMIC CREDENTIALS SUBMITTED FOR EVALUATION DIFFERS FROM THE NAME INDICATED ABOVE. While registering for WES, I used my married surname and sent all necessary docs(marriage certificate, birth certificate, court affidavit etc)to justify it.. Although the report came out with my married surname on it, I still feel a bit bothered..Pls for those who have done a change of NAME with WES,do you receive this same message? |

Please, just a clarification... For POF, are we to submit a 6 months statement of account or a reference/official letter from the bank stating the required information like the closing balance etc. |

CokeBar:CIC requires 6 months average balance. But Nigerian Banks wont state this, so people include the 6 months statement let CIC compute themselves. if the money is from gift deed, sale of asset etc no need to 6 months statement 1 Like 1 Share |

Uchboggy: This is my advice. By going alone, you have 475 so you are still safe even if you decline and the point does not get to 470 any more. If it was that if your score is let say 471 unaccompanied, then ill say you you shouldn't decline but 475...its really a decent score and you can always get ITA. I understand that a lot of people have also advised that you can add the spouse post ITA and the scores would be recalculated which is quite true...but you know IRCC can be funny at times, make we no go meet a yeye case analyst. so for you to have a smooth application which does not have the process of adding and recalculating stuff...just decline and wait for two draws, the likelihood of getting it is quite high. My two cents 1 Like |

Good day guys. Pls advice. I have an ND certificate + 3 years of working experience. If I do CIMA, will it be evaluated as two or more degrees? Will I be able to claim points for having two or more degrees in the EE profile? How can I boost my CRS score? |

please i need a mentor. if you cant volunteer, please dont laugh at me. i can see guys here just completing NYSC (only Bsc) without siblings in canada having about 460 plus CRS how come? even with maximum score in IELTS it should not be possible ordinarily. i did my self assessment with Msc, and 10 years work experience plus assumed conservative average band of 7.5 in IELTS and got a CRS of 431. maybe they evaluate Bsc and SSCE to get maximum points, is this the secrete? please somebody should mentor me here. kindly signify here so i can contact you i dont just want to release phone contacts here. The last time i read about express entry was in 2013 and since then a lot of things have changed. e.g the required/ wining CRS score then was around 350 plus. i am back now. i flipped through previous threads by search of keyword but am still missing somethings. kindly help me. |

Wrong advice please.... He can add his spouse, post ITA, provided any addition to the application does not make his score goes below the CRS under which he was invited. He is good to go and submit as the spouse addition will still leave him at 470. phemmy26: 7 Likes |

Hello house...please I'm new here. My highest qualification is a post graduate diploma and I've got it evaluated by WES( including my BSC). I am trying to fill my express entry profile but I'm not seeing any PGD just BSC and Masters. Can I pick masters instead? Thanks. Note: WES equated my PGD as PGD Canadian equivalent 1 Like |

Hakyntommy:You can't claim points for only PGD. Do you have a BSc? Evaluate the BSc alongside the PGD to get points for two or more certificates. |

Sigh.. I wish Justwise could delete this so people don’t make the wrong decision. This journey is/was tough for so many people and this thing you wrote could just leave people who take your “advice” lingering in the pool and praying for a way out when it’s already handed to them. The advice we gave him was Fact based, IRCC verified and PPR certified. Your advice is opinion based and not factual. phemmy26: 5 Likes |

Welcome to thread.. where dreams come true. For IELTS you need 8777 (LRWS) to stand a much better chance. How old are you? You age might be impacting your score. You have a masters degree so that is a bonus for you. I’m guessing the major thing affecting your score is your age. Please verify this so people on here could give you a more detailed response. lexyj123: 1 Like |
