Police Arrest 10 Armed Fulani Herdsmen In Ekiti by dre11(m): 4:20pm On Feb 21, 2020
The police in Emure-Ekiti on Thursday night arrested 10 Fulani herdsmen allegedly armed with guns in Emure-Ekiti, Ekiti State. The incident has caused a stir in the community.

Our corresspondent gathered that the people of the town had raised the alarm on sighting strange faces, prompting the police to arrest and bring them to the state command in Ado-Ekiti.

State’s command Public Relations Officer, Sunday Abutu, who confirmed the development to Daily Sun, said : “The arrest of the herdsmen was true.

“I cannot confirm if they are kidnappers ; they appeared to be hunters from the Next; we saw them with dane guns. We cannot ascertain if they are kidnappers or not. After investigations, we will know what they are up to.”

Abutu further advised members of the public to always raise the alarm whenever they see strange faces in their environs, adding that “the victims might end up being innocent, but, we can’t know until after proper investigations are carried out.”

Ever since Buhari came to power, the Fulanis have proven to be above the law.

I just pray the man handling the case doesn't lose his job...this is Nigeria where evil rules over good.

Very good news.
The bad ones perpetrating crimes and killings among these Fulani herdsmen should be interrogated and be made sure they confess who their sponsors are.

Even the blinds can see that there are some evil politicians out there that just want unrest in our nation.
May they never have peace in their miserable lives.
May they all die terribly
May happiness be far from them in life.
And if you as a youth are still supporting these criminals,
same goes for you.....no matter the party, the evil doers you support are in.....

We remembered how we used to live as brothers as sisters in our darling nation with these same Fulani herdsmen.
The times we gave water and food to herdsmen journeying across the nation as they go on their business peacefully,
Just with their sticks and kettles for their prayers (salat),
that was all before the evil and criminal minded politicians begun sponsoring some of them for evil because they want to remain in power forever.

Children of hate, frustration and perdition, supporters of evil, can you kindly say Amen to the above prayers that terrible and evil things should happen to the people sponsoring Boko Haram and Killer herdsmen in Nigeria?

For where?
Number Characteristics of a wailer : HYPOCRISY!

See all of them wailing PMB below, but no one can Say Amen to the prayers asking for the terrible end to Boko and Evil herdsmen sponsors terrible demise!
Hypo people dem...... cheesy

Be careful what you wish for,the evil politician could be your tin god or his minions.
It has suddenly turned to 'could be'.
Why not say Amen or just keep hiding from the truth like your cohorts?
Y'all keep hiding from the naked truth.
What a nation!

Sirjamo:
MANNA, I say a very big AMEN to your prayers. May Allah, God, Chineke, Olohun oba destroy all those who are out to set our nation on fire!!
Amen.
God bless you so much sir.
Nigeria will be great again in our lifetime.

oldtruth:

A powerful "Amen" to your prayer.

That aside, let me brief you a bit.

Then when the herders operated peacefully was because there were still many green grass couple with forest for them to pasture.

Do you know that overgrazing causes deforestation? This is what happened and when they couldn't get much, they started encroaching farmlands and everywhere.

Now, for them to keep themselves and their animals safe, they started adding more protection like guns and the rest. That was the loophole the politicians took opportunity of and started using them to create unrest.

Now a typical herder is likely to cause unrest because:

1. He needs to feed his animals and with no much at sight he will definitely have to encroach.

2. A normal mindset of a thief is either to strike or be stricked.

Solution:

Let all herders have a ranch where they can keep their animals this will deterred them for encroaching farmlands and risk awakening scuffles.

2. Let them start growing grasses. It is a huge business in most countries and a win - win situation.

3. Nigerian government must treat all farmers, herders and all Nigerians equal.

Nigeria is a good place. Collectively we can make it better
You have made very very good and salient points here sir.
This is the kind of posts we love replying,
Not the posts filled with hate and childishness.

Thanks for bringing this up once again,
We concur absolutely with all you said.
Personally, we have proposed the Cow ranching idea to the necessary authorities in our country, which we want to believe they are working on presently.
This is how it is done in saner climes.

We may support different political ideas or persons,
No where all over the world will 100% of a country support just one candidate in an election!
But collectively
All we want is peace, development and a good country to live and work in.
That is all that matters at the end of the day.

Can we follow you on Nairaland sir?
We still have more to talk about from here on.
It is always good and refreshing to know that we still have reasonable and sensible people like you on this forum, apart from our 'Day ones'!
Breathe of fresh air.
Your moniker describes who you really are! wink
A wise mature man who says the truth as it is.
#RESPECT.

Talk to you soon again,

Where do these guys get their ammunition from? I wonder why no one has questioned where Miyetti Allah gets the fund they support our political parties from. Is it this same "Fulani da Malu" that they raise the money or the association is just an undercover for something very deep than we can imagine?

A lot must have escaped. If they had no sinister motive, how could 10 armed herdsmen be found in the same community at once? Amotekun should be armed to the teeth, miyetti Allah can take 2 capsules of thunder.

Except they're quickly arraigned(to explain how they came about the weapons in their possession), convicted for illegal possession, convicted & punished accordingly, they will be release as "repented" armed fulani terrorists.

Buhari told Trump that Fulani jihadist herdsmen only carry sticks,
That the real killer herdsmen are not Nigerians, they are from Neighboring countries and the solution for the killings is that the indigenous people should surrender their ancestral land to the migrant Fulani jihadist under Miyetti_Allah.

This issue of Armed Fulanis is becoming unbecoming. Just last week in my town in Abia, 3 young men coming from at a meeting at d LGA HQTS was abducted by guys who dey identified as Fulanis after a ransome was paid. D nxt day, dey intercepted some ppl plying same route. Dey were already taking them to d bush but for d timely intervention of the Army guys posted to ABSU.
The idiot dat brought dem to Abia North in d person of OUK is presently wasting in Kuje prison while d evil seed he sowed is growing an ugly fruit.
I call on all d southern States to open their eyes early before this monsters turn our lands to NE
