I just booked an appointment with the embassy. Though am confused on the option I chose. I chose that I need to open a blocked account with a Deutsch bank. They have only two options: certification of school documents and opening a blocked account. I don't know if I chose rightly. Gurus please help. Vlibray: 1 Like |

I have cancelled the appointment anyway after remembering i got a notice of appointment from the embassy since 29th January. The issue is that am yet to be given a chosen date. A friend in Wurzburg suggested that and fund my fintiba blocked account and including my ad letter and send to embassy. He told me the rules of appointment has changed and doing that may compel the embassy to give me a fixed date for visa interview. Vlibray: |

Hello guys, Need a candid response to these questions please. I applied for embassy interview/appointment for summer class beginning 1st April 2020 on the 16th of December 2019 under category A because I had second class upper degree (2.1) but am yet to be scheduled for an appointment : 1. Am I really under the right category with 2.1? 2. Heard embassy made some changes as regards to visa application which I can't find on their site, can someone through more light on those changes or provide a link to it on their site? 3. Is someone with 2.1 who graduated in 2016 still eligible for category A under the new changes? 4. Is it advisable to contact embassy via email or ☎ as regards to this since I was told to refrain from that from the mail I got after registration. 5. Is it also wise to cancel and reapply? If yes, how do I go about that. 6. Is this whole thing a mistake on my part as regards to the option I chose or just the way they delay? THANKS IN ADVANCE FOR YOUR RESPONSE!! |

drehenry:only 2.1 does not qualify you for category A, u must have graduated not later than 2018, hold a testas score of 100-130, A scholarship from German funds, a very good B2 German proficiency certificate. We keep repeating this, still this question is still asked. U graduated 2016, u don't qualify for cat A. Even if you get a date they won't interview you. |

Please am new to this thread and I need serious suggestions and help..I graduated 2015 with 2.67 cgpa in Accounting..though my parents had financial constraints when I got admission which affected my academic performance due to fact I had to no hostel accommodation money for handout..most cases I missed many of exams during my first year and second year due to this constraints..it was in my 3yr I started picking up the pieces but I could not strengthen my cgpa again because u strengthen your cgpa as early in yr1 and yr2..but that's by the way..I served late 2016 to 2017 at an audit firm..started work with an automobile company as a service engineer on July 2018 due to inability to get good placed interview with firms that are inclined with my field of study..due to my 2.2 result..because most firms ask for 2.1..which really pains me till now ..have been working there since then ..and I have actually learnt alot from the job in terms of engineering and machinery dynamics..which I feel is not a waste .but I still want to further more with what I studied in the university. Am currently still doing my ICAN exams..so am planning on applying for an msc in germany in economics or any business and finance related course..but my cgpa after been coverted to german scale is 2.74..which is above the the 2.5 scale..and this is giving me huge concerns and fear...should I reapply for another bachelors degree in perhaps economics I clocked 26 last week..I dont know what to do now..I need help on what I should do ..thanks |

clintonsparkz:. Lol bros most schools if you graduate in 2016 your Certificate usually carry the year when the Senate certifies the result....and Majorly it isn't usually the year you graduate... So if he graduated in 2016 his cert should most definitely carry 2017 so as at last year he qualified for cat A |

Hello guys, Una good morning oh, Local man greets you all. This thread is indeed wonderful, after carefully doing overnight reading here, I'm already feeling like a boss from all the powerful info I've gotten so far . All the scholars and profs in the house biko help your boy. I'm a 2.1 graduate of English with a 3.8cgpa, I've been able to contact about 3 diff schools as regards the winter admission and they've given me their admission guidelines and requirements (Though portal isn't open yet). Having gone through the criteria that qualifies one for category A this morning,i realised one could make that cat if he/she has a 2.1 cert. not earlier than 1st of January, 2017 and has been admitted for a masters programme. I wrote my final exam in 2016 Aug n as usual, normal 9ja uni wahala delayed my cert till February 2017 which makes the date in my cert 21st of Feb 2017. Please my people, does the above stated reason qualify me as category A, since my cert is carrying 21st Feb, 2017? Local man will be very much grateful if my daddies them could help me out with this to avoid stories that touches the liver . P.S: Make una no mind my long essay the boy needs help las las... I greet everyone once again. |
