Aeon mall. Very big shopping mall with food courts, cinema etc here.

Almost like ICM but bigger.

I can't overemphasize this, Vietnamese are kind and friendly people honestly. They're ready to leave what they are doing and walk or put you through. Just ask questions.

Aha, download Google translate on your phone too. Most of them already have it but do that too

A lot of people have been sending me mails, asking me how to come here. There are several packages available...

You can come here on a 3 months visa

You can come on a 3 months visa, job offer, flight ticket.

You can come on a football visa, flight ticket, airport pickup and accommodation

You can come on a one year visa, 2 years work permit, TEFL, flight tickets, airport pickup and 2 nights accommodation.

They all have their advantages and disadvantages. Just be wise and careful to avoid stories that make water come out of the eye. I can't overemphasize this!

Disclaimer: I don't work with anyone here and nobody here helped me get the visa or anything to avoid anyone mailing you with or in my name. Biko.

WhyNa:
Hey Guys, sorry for the break. It's good to see a lot of people showing interest and following. Thanks

To others, please note that the title of this thread is MY JOURNEY TO HANOI and not PLEASE ADVICE ME

Back to the journey.....

About 4 days before my trip, I was stressed. I never envisioned it to be that way cos I started on time to put my things together but there were still little things that needed attention.

I had to pack right, make sure I had the essentials, take care of personal things I was leaving behind and all. I even lost appetite and it wasn't due to excitement.

A day to my trip, I went to the bank to get my BTA, I was there when a job offer came in with accommodation and boy! I was happy.

No it's not possible. They are two different things.

I'll advise anyone who is looking to process and come to Vietnam to do so quickly cos a rule will take effect sometime in July I think; requesting all non-native speakers to have IELTS or TOEFL in addition to the English certificate and degree.

No I didn't authenticate my IELTS. You can if you want to

See those finger nails? They are that of a lady who went for legitimate, legal job opportunity/study. Not 6inchs nails of a slay queen going abroad to do runs then come online to rant about maltreatment

When you see a genuine hustling babe that really have a good plans for her future, she won't even have passion and time to be slaying unnecessarily. She will rather be busy with her life than wasting money on things that doesn't bring food on her table.
