Lol. The mum-worship is real.

The same ladies guys are currently calling olosho and borehole pussies would be worshipped by their sons in the nearest future.

It is just what it is.

How will I share the money? In a practical and rational way. In respect to their request or expenses. However, my parents work- I only buy them gifts and gadgets. The only person on my payroll is my lil cousin wey be undergraduate.

50/50. I give them everything equally.
Mum is everything, dad is everything too, but I hardly ever notice cos he's a man like me and men hardly show emotions, but when I sit back and think about it, that man don try wella.

You are a true son of your father.
People are quick to appreciate a mother's love but only a wise person understands the sacrifice of a father

For as long as they live together as husband and wife, everything will go to one account (dad's or mom's). Asides days I'm sending "recharge card", I don't split/share money.

Pls, shut up and stop generalising issues. Some fathers are better dead than alive. No provoke me ooo. I am a man and I will never be anything like my father, thats my personal opinion. Pls, allow others air their own opinions too without throwing tantrums.

Just take a look at these kids undermining the post of a father in their lives. The system has so much brought down the role of a father. Making him look like a figure head. Praising the mother alone.

Little wonder we have so many days assigned to praise women and just a day to notice the value of a man (Father’s day). Most times the Father’s Day come and go without anyone noticing it

Same father who worked all his life to take care of his family? Same father who will risk his life day and night just to put food on the table? Same father who paid your fees from the very first day you were born till you started earning your own money? Same father who put a roof over your head and even assigned your own room? (No wonder men die early)

Only for him to be cheated again when he is to reap the fruit of his Labour. Little wonder most of you are cursed. It is because you have offended God and man by being a fool.

Just take a look at the cheap gold-digging girls we have nowadays. All they do is look for a ready made man. So after having kids for that guy, those unfortunate kids will rather take care of her than their father who has worked for money all his life?

What happened to 50:50? To hell with you simpletons.

My mum has done a whole lot for me and I’ll do anything just to make her happy but my dad (bless his soul) deserves as much love and happiness.

Even the 50:50 sef, my dad will still buy gifts for mum from that money. I understand most of you are not from stable homes sha...Una dey use una family problem judge the matter.

The 'system' did nothing to dads, most men just refuse to admit that there are many deadbeat dads .

Some of you think caringfor aa child is just about bringing money all the time, these responses shows that a child is not a toy that you can just pour money on, and most men failed in raising their kids.

Mothers have done more than their own parts, but fathers are still slacking because they think only women should nurture a child. Only fee fathers have healthy relationships with their children, compared to mothers

Men need to pull up their weight, you cannot buy affection with money.

There are gender roles no matter the excuses you make for the inequality. Women bond with their kids even right from the womb and fathers are just introduced. Without the toil of the father, the child has no future. It's the duty of a good wife to always make the children understand that their father is the bedrock of the family.

A dad gave his wife money to get clothes for the children, ask the children afterward who got them the clothes, its always mummy. A wise woman would create a balance for the children to acknowledge their dad.

or do you expect daddy to explain to his children he provided the clothes...oh no, he's out again looking for what they'll survive on next.

If you were to share 100k between your parents, how much will each get? And why?

Me, I will give mom 70k and 30k to dad. Reason is, Mom needs a little more love for her enormous sacrifices. Woman has starved and done a lot of strenuous jobs to keep us going
That sounds like say you have a bad father... No pun intended though.

Me I will give mum ₦20k and dad ₦80k...
The reason is because, he will still be providing for the family from that.
He will still spend more than ₦30k on mum apart from feeding and accommodation.

Let's wait to see how much inheritance you will be leaving for your children then we can decide how foolish or wise your comment is.

Ikjosh04:

Well, a good father leave inheritance for his children and his children children. Right now, my dad is leaving debt for us and I'm the first born. I'll give my mom 90k and my dad 10k so it won't look like I'm biased. Honestly, my mom has been the one taking care of the family until recently cause I've stepped up my hustle(still praying for blessings and more blessings). Meanwhile, I'm very sure the 90k I'll give my mum, it's still my dad that will have total control of the money.
I don't know why I feel this way but when I see my dad, I know he didn't do enough(hustle) to fight poverty. He is that type of man that knows how to spend money so fast and he takes life easy.

P. S., my dad is a good man to me and the family but he is not hustle wise.

Why spend so much on the dead and neglect the living?
Because that man you call the dead lives on in my heart. He is my hero and even the dead are immortalized. Momma is enjoying her life already, UK today, Canada tomorrow and Jerusalem to top. Papa who did the dirty job is under the ground and you ask why waste money on the dead!

you are the bastard, because you are so bitter.
parents are different some people praised their fathers and they gave reason, everybody is allowed to say how they feel so save your stupid long episode of name calling, it only makes you look bitter

its obvious you are bitter about women but you must know that being a good wife is different from being a good mother.

some mothers are nolonger with their husbands, some were chased out, but they are the best thing their children will ever have, while
some mothers are very good wives and their husbands adore them but her children will give anything to stay away from them forever.

STOP COMPARING BEING A WIFE/GIRLFRIEND TO BEING A MOTHER

They will keep learning the hard way. Nairaland post, red pills and alpha male-hood cannot change human loyalty.

The only problem is, they will blame women and feminism as usual. Right from the Garden of Eden, men have never been responsible for their inadequacies.

grin

Mothers have done more than their own parts, but fathers are still slacking because they think only women should nurture a child. Only few fathers have healthy relationships with their children, compared to mothers.

Notice how, many people are sharing based on who showed more love and affection and who they think sacrificed more. Some are giving their dads more, based on this. You cannot bully a child most of their lives and expect reward just because you were paying school fees, while reducing their self esteem.

Men need to pull up their weight, you cannot buy affection with money and you cannot emotionally blackmail people into forgetting who showed them love when they most needed it. You don't know anyone's personal experience with their parents.

So,yes, many are bastards because their fathers were never really there.

#80K to redecorate my papa's resting place and the balance to momma.

Why? Papa did the oddest jobs to put food on the table and send us to school and did not wait to benefit from it. Momma flies around the world visiting her children so it's more than enough for her.

such people have wicked and uncaring fathers.

if you train your kids well they love you like or More than their mother; or didn't you notice those others who applauds their father more (in the comments above?

My father is 10times richer than my mother. but our mother does that buck of the work in our upbringing. All Papa does is hunt for more and more concubines and produce more babies with them. Atimes he acts like he hates us but whatever little achievement you make he creaves to take the glory. For example it was Mama who collected loan to pay for my elder bro law school fee but when it was time for call to Bar, he used his fatherly authority to collect the invitation card (which I just one) and entered the venue---he is a big Hippocrate.

The funny thing is that he is educated, enlightened, exposed and rich. Someone that has a mini estate, but his wife and kids lives in a face me I face you overcrowded appartment.

Now, if you are me, how will you share the 100k among them.

All the people saying they will give their mum everything are not saying it for fun.

Why the generalization that dads bring money? how many households are run by men alone? our moms are everywhere.. selling fish, oil, vegetable, kerosene, firewood. frying akara, yam, etc, very often they drag their kids along with them to their shops and markets. Moms still provide and care for the kids..
I know there is a silent campaign to discredit women now..but not ur mothers please..

Really on point... Common sense has disappeared since, children of today dont reason anymore... I dont blame them anyway... Because when the man was fit and able, and taking care of the home, the mother will rather complain to them that the money there father gave her for feeding is not enough, meanwhile she has diverted some of the money, and the mumu children will believe what she has told them... So on the long run, papa retired from service or business as a result of old age and the greedy mother steps in as the new bread winner of the home, so the children now grown up are quick to forget the fathers contributions towards there lifes then... Reason a lot of them are cursed indeed.

Hey man, take it easy. My comments wasn't meant to belittle my dad or something, I just poured out my emotions so I can feel better. I'm still very young but believe me when I tell you I'm working my arse out to have a better life for myself and my unborn kids and my siblings and God is helping me. It can only get better.
