This is the best decision made by NERC. Unfortunately, DISCOS will seize this opportunity to punish consumers more. Imagine paying 10k per month, I can't boast of 2hours electricity supply in a day and don't use heavy gadget like AC, etc.

EEDC is going about removing prepaid meter under the guise that it doesn't read when voltage is low. Now they remove the prepaid and place you on estimated billing as they don't have meters to replace d existing one.

U tell me EEDC will heed this ban?

Enugu Disco can't stop Community Billing.
It has impoverished people in the SE and remains alive thru community billing system.


FG can stop Enugu Disco from the fraud through drafting non Igbo officers to enforce this.
