in my opinion, you can apply without mentioning you brother's details. You stand a good chance from what i know.Gurus in the house over to you

This analogy really got me and should get everyone also....
The old Lady has everyone's record in her domain. @kaka24, from your record and profile: same father and mother records with Wazobia you are definitely by omission or commission same blood, so you will be guilty of information hoarding and PREJUDICE and the rest you can figure out.....
Be honest with the Old Lady and let her make her decisions.... though, i found out that sometimes she buys into people who pad their profile very well with ??
My two cents...............!!!!!!!!!

AfonjaBoston:

A wealthy philanthropist built a beautiful mansion in 1776. This edifice is a huge tourist attraction and people from all around the world write letters to this old lady requesting a glimpse of its beauty.

After much deliberations this lady was pressured by her children to open up her home to the outside world.

On one condition she said, my home is open to all to live as there are many rooms but travellers must indicate their intention before coming so she can prepare rooms for those who want to live in it permanently and those who are just passing through.

A man by the name Wazobia indicated he needed a tour, spoke highly of the heiress and how he has been inspired by her philanthropy. He needed a temporary stay for the purpose of learning, development and to replicate same back home. The old lady was touched and approved his quest.

When Wazobia arrived he was warmly received but after a few weeks he became greedy, envious and took over one of her rooms permanently.

She was distraught, disappointed but her benevolence got the most of her and did not deter her from doing good but she never forgot what Wazobia did.

Fast forward to 2020 Wazobia's sibling Kaka24 intends to write a letter to the old lady for a tour.
Do you think the old lady will be happy if she finds out kaka withheld information about his relationship status with Wazobia the usurper ?

The old lady is wiser and tougher now!

Hello guys thanks for the good work you all do here.I would welcome any help I get here.

My wife and I are planning to apply for a B2 visa for US.We plan spending 2 weeks (24 August - 6th September)mainly sightseeing, shopping and could probably catch a game at the US Open.

I am the Headmaster of a school which belongs to my parents. My wife is a Banker and also owns a Beauty salon. We own 2 cars, 3plot of land which we building our own school on at the moment.Because of this project our bank statements total of 15,000 Usd.
Some few questions.
1. Since we both traveling together do we have to fill separate online profile or one for both of us?
2. Do we need to fill separate DS 160?
3. The plan to apply early when at least we have some funds,20 February is available .As we wish to travel in August will applying in February be seen as desperate?
4. When is the best time to collect your bank statement?now or wait till few days to interview?
5. What are our chances of getting our visa?Any tip will be welcome.
Thanks

My interview was yesterday. My wife and I got approved.Thank God.No documents were asked and taken from us(3 questions asked only).

If kaka24 doesn't mention he's related to his brother or whoever, how would the lady know? Must he mention he has relations to his brother?

If u go to study, ur supposed to be back in ur home country. But many folks stay and work their way to green card and to citizenship. Melania trump went to the USA on visitor visa. She spent quality years modeling for agencies while her visa had expired. Then she filed for hi visa or work related and then became a US citizen.

DV LOTTERY? That's like 1 out of 10 applicants.

Family sponsor... Yes..
Job sponsor.. Very low. What innovative skills we got here?

Fact is, we said we were going on visit or business before things sorta began to take new, legal shape. U get??

Dv lottery was the only way people without job and family sponsor could move legally to USA.

May be and may be not.

If anyone goes to study legally in the US and along the line finds a job or family to sponsor for a green card that is 100% legal.

Thousand of Nigerians benefited from the DV Lottery in doves when the program initially started...so no it wasn't just 1 out of 10 applicants who won the DV lottery in its early years.

And yes most jobs sponsorship for green card also came from post study visas.

And to your last point, yes some applicants do decide to stay back in the US even after their visits or business to legalize their stay either through job or family sponsorship....of which is still legal under US Immigration laws.
Re: USA Visit Visa Part 4 by Nobody: 6:43pm On Feb 25, 2020
U can look at 10 folks from ur community, school, family, etc who are in the USA for many years and tell me how they became residents or citizens..if they are at all

I bet 90 percent or higher went to visit and then stay put, arrange for a stay via many means.

Have u had a US VISA? I'm sure u told the VO that u were going to visit and then possibly change ur status later on, which of course is legal. Next time u want to renew ur visa and ur asked to come in in person, tell them u have other motives beyond a short visit to America.

Fact is, many of our people who are in America first went on a VISIt or business. Simple. The VO WAS TOLD THEY WE WERE GOING ON A SHORT TRIP AND TO be BACK.

Forget about the example with Melania trump, Albert Einstein was a visiting professor in an American university before he changed status. He did not tell them he wanted to settle in America. He probably ran there due to issues in Europe. Many many people around the world do it.

What's your point? If you're going to throw assumptions all over the place then come with receipts that you can back up . There are about 300000 Nigerians in the US and that inclues those of Nigerian descent.
Travel state government will provide with data on number of nigerians that apply and get each vsa category regardless of if they applied in another consulate apart from Nigeria

Receipts and backup? It's obvious. The department of state has stated it. We go to visit and we jappa. We never come back. No other place in Africa does that more often than Nigeria! Why travel restrictions? Ur asking me of evidence?

No. I said individuals all over the world do it, including Melania trump. I just wanted to mk sure we were not being hypocritical of those who AfonjaBoston called usurpers who became greedy and misused what was supposed to be a temporary stay in a foreign house. As in I'm sayin people are there nko, the so called Nigerian American or those with residents permits

Life is essentially about individual survival. It's all about time and chance

Na game of chance! It's purely luck! Dv lottery isn't a standard way to immigrate to the USA. People just try it and see Sha. Many of us do visits and business and then... Whatever happens....

The Dv lottery was and is very competitive. NO country can receive more that 7000 is so in a particular year. And eventually about 3500 make it to the USA out of over 1 million that apply every year.3500 out of about 1 million.applicants that applied from Nigeria. The hundreds of thousands that weren't selected .What other route do you think they would have used? Many will probably then use the Japa level
