ChoCho54:they should be ashamed , go to the IDP camps in the north, you will not find michika people or the real indigenous people there but these shameless alimajeri beggars, the real victims of the crisis has moved in with their relatives in the city , but these shameless beings are all over the place looking for alms , free meals and clothing in IDP camps just because of free food, kano state will announce ban of begging in the state today, other states should follow suit, most of them are criminals disguising. 11 Likes |

Teewhy2:Of course they didn't. This protest has Political undertones to me. Imagine street beggars blocking the government house? It's all about venting their anger on yoruba people over what they consider an ongoing cold war due to Amotoekun. 4 Likes |

Nigeria is in trouble. One can't imagine what will happen if a state like Kano or Kaduna decide to ban street begging. The act of begging has eaten deep into the beggars' system to the extent they see it as right and a sane government must allow them to beg. Lagos State government need to thread softly because as someone says, they bring down the government of sanwo olu if care is not taken. |

Iruabua: What has that school done for you. Landed you on nairaland. People talking about school as if going to school has been of any real benefit to any Nigerian. If they have skills and are succesful at it. Is that not enough to be thankful for as a collective people. Never come her again to use education as an escape to unemployment. They weren't even asking to be left to beg. Pls pls if you can't stand in solidarity, Just keep shut. Thanks. 2 Likes |
