You are not in 4000 kms.And you don't have cape gauge. You don't have electrified ones.
How many times should I post our electrified SGR?
Look this again..reach this levels
if you tell someone from America, between pic A(Kenya railway) and pic B(Tz railway) which one do you think looks super modern?. Forget about electric and wherever cos Kenya is also going to electrify its railway line upon completion.

Do you even know what is quality in engineering stuff? Can a railway which supports a max speed of 120kph be compared with a railway which is capable of handling bullet trains of 160 kph? Do you even know what engineering design and technicalities have been applied in TZ SGR to make it go at 160 kph? Do you even know the difference of curve radii between yours and that of TZ SGR?
I think you should keep on posting your station, that is the only stuff you can show us for now while we wait for TZ to complete her main stations.Don't try comparing TZ railways and yours, they are far far apart.Weather your SGR will be electrified or not,the truth will always remain,TZ railway have been designed better,it is constructed better than yours

What bullet trains lol. Kazikazi stop deceiving people. You can't compare a functioning railway with a nonexistent one. When you ferry a single passenger or goods then we will compare.

Kenyans Ridicule Tanzania After They Got an Uglier Locomotive for their Electric SGR
By David Koech / Thursday, 09 May 2019 09:50AM / 0 Comments / Tags: SGR, Tanzania
Kenyans and Tanzanians have for many months been engaged in a war of words on social media platforms. The cause of this has been the Standard Gauge Railway lines both countries are constructing.

Kenya went first with its Mombasa to Nairobi line. What was promised to be an electric, high speed line turned out to be only slightly faster than the old line, with diesel locomotives. A lot of explanations have been given, and even assurances of eventually electrifying the line, but not everyone is convinced.

Tanzania on the other hand had the advantage of watching Kenya’s missteps and taking a different route. Their citizens demanded that their version must be electric and truly high speed. And that’s what Magufuli’s government is supposedly delivering.

The Tanzanian SGR has been very secretive, perhaps even more than the Kenyan one. While President Magufuli publicly says that they are financing it with internal government funds, there are records of billions of dollars borrowed specifically for this project. At least $2.6 billion has come in form of a loan from Export Credit Bank of Turkey and Standard Chartered Bank.

There are also many conflicting figures on the timelines of this project. Not to mention it freight capacity and so on.

Unlike Kenya, Tanzania went with a Turkish company – Yapı Merkezi for the construction. This week, Yapi brought in what was stated to be a ‘test’ locomotive head. Visuals tell a clearer message than anything that can be written, and word spread fast on the internet that Tanzania’s first locomotive had arrived.

The fact that it is only slightly uglier than the Kenyan locomotives did not help the situation, especially because they had been promised sleek bullet trains.

Despite assurances that this was only a test locomotive, Tanzanians were disappointed.

Kenyans, who had been on the defensive for many months, took this time to ridicule their neighbors.

Tanzania must be a superhero whose super powers are to make Kenya and everything Kenyan seem super cool. All of a sudden our SGR seem futuristically sexy! it's unfortunate that you guys are doing things to compete Kenya but you won't manage grin.. don't mention anything to do with locomotive train again grin. Am doing more research about it. Look your mess bro grin. I can't stop laughing grin grin grin

Hope you mean 160 Miles per hr not kph because 160 kph is hella slow, the Kenyan SGR can do that and its not bullet. If the big man is building 160 kph we just have to grab more popcorns and enjoy the circus.

That is yapi merkez testing train. Its owned and operated by yapi merkez( contractor). Its the same train they used when they were testing Ethiopian railways.
Tanzania will operate a speed trains which are capable of doing 160 kph. Don't be stupid by thinking a old locomotive like that can pull stuff which will move at 160 kph.
