I noticed that's all your arguments comes with 'comprehension' where is your own opinion here. We know that you are paid to defend their morally corrupt laws, please do not quote me if you don't have a reasonable answer.
If you are narrow-minded I'm not. The Chinese are not buying our oil because of Coronavirus people are moving away from oil, it cost us more to get the money back. Abacha's stolen money who kept the interests?
If you can not find a problem here you never find anything with all your comprehension Mr woman.

This thing you have said here, how does it relate to immunity for presiding officers of the legislature?

They are all the same nobody should get immunity simple. You are not a bad some will be presiding officers. I have made my point and added reasons why I'm against it. We need laws for the people not for the presiding officers.

Hahahahahahaha.......

So you expect a bill for immunity for lawan and gbajabiamila will not make them rubber-stamps?

My God!

Please refrain from saying this kind of thing...

Does immunity stop impeachment?

I beg you.....I never used the word " appendage"..that's your own grammar.

You definitely did not see where my quotation mark ended signifying end to what u said.

Now, Lawan and Gbaja were installed by Buhari and APC so nobody would expect anything from them.

But think about tomorrow when an independent minded person would assume that sit.

Why not lay the necessary framework to help him or her deliver?

The immunity enjoyed today had nobody in mind while being designed.

Why do you wanna have Lawan and Gbaja in mind here?

I don't have anybody in mind.

Forget Lawan and/or Gbaja. If the President wants to take out an erring presiding Officer....with or without immunity, he will do it his way.

Obasanjo removed how many Senate Presidents then?

Ghali Umar Na'abba was not allowed to return.

Immunity will not stop a desperate President to remove a presiding officer he doesn't like.

What happens to recall from his constituency?
What happens to impeachment?

Immunity will only extricate these leaders to continue to hide.

You can see the Deputy Gov who is parading a forged certificate hiding under immunity and there is nothing you can do about it.

With or without immunity, Salisu Buhari was forced to resign.

Listen...awol1...I am telling you...there are a lot of people who are clamouring for the immunity to be removed from the ones we have, adding more will not help the corruption fight but will declare open season again.

Do you really think it makes sense to make presidents and governors, and their deputies vulnerable to all manner of litigation which will greatly affect his performance in office?

Imagine an opposition party dubiously deciding to make a governor or president tenure turbulent.

What if the President or Governor is jailed of the crime, wouldn't that be denying those who voted him their mandate?

We have three spheres of Government....Federal State Local

The Heads of executive...President and Vice has immunity
Deputy Gov and Gov has immunity (State)
These two already have.

Well, if we go by your commonsense analogy.....
LG Chairman should also have immunity (He is the head of the Local Government), afterall SC said their Mandate is untouchable, ask Makinde.

SP and HoR Speaker will also have immunity.
The Speakers of the State Houses of Assembly will also enjoy immunity, because it's a matter of time before they clamour for it.

The CJN should have immunity
The Heads of the HC and CoA should also enjoy immunity.

It's a matter of time before other officers of the NA ask for immunity.

Commonsensically, there is no sense in asking for immunity for presiding officers. That is the right way to go.

Left to me....Section 308 should be amended and immunity allowed, only for the PRESIDENT and GOVERNOR.
I answered the question earlier....

I'm in total support to it. So that they stand up for Nigeria and Nigerians against authoritative executive. Without immunity, I think the are prone to intimidation, rubber stamp and blackmail.
