I had a good conversation with the lady. She said she can't make transfers to another account outside of Access bank, that she has told Beng all the while
Am I to believe her? Not completely. She was bitterly complaining about her whatsapp conversation with you. Now, does the complainant knows anyone that uses an Access bank account or can anyone here volunteer? Let's nip this in the bud as soon as we can.

Nigga, it seems this case is akin to the last fraudster we treated here.
I just got off the phone with her now and she said she told you to get an Access bank account for you to get your money. Is that true?
When did you take the trip because she pretended not to know the date again?
I told her to get the money across to you and stop playing games but if you confirm all the interactions above and still do not get your money in 1 hour, let us know.
And please when next you're giving account of a case like this : Get us the trip details, name and phone number.

I sent her all the account numbers

Bros, it would only make sense for you to keep us posted on happenings. You're beginning to sound like you're taking sides and making it seem like she's doing him a favour. The idea is not just to get them to pay but to let them know that they can be easily shamed if they refuse to pay, that way they do not try to mess with other drivers.

Carry us along, let us know what's going on. It is not your personal matter, you're doing it for everyone here and out there at large.

The last person that had a Convo with her, did well to attach a screenshot of their conversation while updating us.

After the aim has been achieved, you can choose to do whatever with her.

Cheers.

She has paid the money. It's not personal to me. Just mediation, no ulterior motives on my part. Just don't want this to get out of hand. She sounded polite and respectful to me. She made it seem as if it was a misunderstanding between her and Beng. I gave her the benefit of doubt and she promised to transfer the money. It worked out well. I'm sure she will not do it again if her intention was evil. Sometimes, you don't need the hardline to get issues sorted. Beng did well by posting it here. Approach on resolving issues also matters. Let us let it rest. Trust me, she learnt from this in the most subtle manner. Thanks

My point is if advanced countries can shut down their towns, cities and school and limit international flight from entering their country, why cant you as an individual also limit and reduce the risk of contacting the disease espcially in a developing country like Nigeria with a broken health system

if a good number of International flight have been checked, how come an italian with the virus landed in Algeria? How come the virus is in france, italy, finland, spain, isreal, greece, austia, Australia, Kuwait, india, Pakistan, Switzerland,US, UK,Estonia, Denmark, south korea,Romania, norway, germany, in japan, in iran? a virus that started in wuhan, is now all over the world, how come?

This basically shows that International airports, flights and other means of international transportation were one of the reasons why the virus spread to other countries very fast.

also the virus incubation period is 7-14 days, it means that if an individual contact the virus, he wont show signs of illness until 7-14 days

japan recently shut down its public schools over the virus

https://punchng.com/japan-shuts-down-public-schools-over-coronavirus/

if these virus can be over the world, i believe this virus is in Nigeria already especially with almost 120,000 Chinese flying in and out of Nigeria and also Nigerian business men and women flying into Nigeria. one of them them must have brought this virus here but the govt is trying hard to control the news so that people wont panic

Like Gazz suggested, maybe you should read up.
I'll also suggest you read about their continents, how they connect geographically too

You don't need to travel by air to move around European countries.

Even in Nigeria for example, people move to West African countries mostly by road, than by air. People move to Cameroun through the sea, than by air. People go to Libya and Niger mostly by road than by air

These people are the ones you may likely seat with in a bus, exchange money with, buy and sell to, hug and shake.

Let's just agree to disagree. But my point is, one is more likely to get the virus outside the airport, than around it.

Lets calm down abeg, I don't think Ndubuis is being 1 sided at least she has paid already.
It's not neccesary we have to always fight after every successful recovery. The last one was crazy and intense, this one was silent and fast which is still the same thing.
1-0 and 8-0 still gives you 3points at the end. Make ena take m easy

Sometimes, some riders can turn one to agberos in few seconds

Someone carried you to your destination.
Fare was displayed
You walked away saying "You'll pay when Bolt reviews it"

What sorta rubbish is this? Why not pay the money and report the issue to Bolt? Na the driver design the app?

If that guy had fought her now, we will be seeing nonsense on instablog

I'm happy she paid without much drama.

PS: Advice her to use the bus next time. It's very cheap, and she wouldn't have to wait long hours for a review

Lol

It is up to drivers to do what it seems fit to do even avoiding passengers from the airport till this virus is eradicated after all some countries are not issuing visa to visitors, for instance Saudi Arabia and some countries in the middle east have place a temporary ban on visitors.

For a country like Nigeria without good health care, the best preventive measures will be to stop picking inbound passengers for now till the situation is calm globally..as they say, prevention is better than cure.

I strongly believe that this virus will land in our shores, Nigeria isn't taking the issue seriously, now is the time to ban flight especially from affected countries but nothing like that is being done, we are on our own.

This is the first time I will be quoting you here. With all due respect, stop all this panic attacks. CoVid19 is already a problem which we know, proffer solution rather than fanning the embers of anxiety. The bolded message above depicts you as a pessimist.

That said, Drivers should please get a face mask to serve as personal protective measure when in contact with any one feeling feverish, has a flu, cough or shortness of breath (difficulty in breathing). Mostly for inbound passengers from suspicious countries. We should be discreet in handling these situations.

The numbers of the Lagos State public health authorities are: 08023169483, 08033565529 or 08052817243.

Very well then, maximum appreciation.

I contacted her though and suggested to her to always make payments even when she has been overcharged, and then make her complaints known through the app, if there's need for a refund, bolt would make it mandatory for the driver to refund her asap.

I don't engage in stupidity and I don't support fooolishness.

Unless am being shortsighted, I can't see where this lady in question refused to pay. Infact this is not even a case of robbery yet.

Her only assertion was that she needs to see the fare review and receipt from bolt which nobody is sure whether she has seen or not.

Please lets not start taking this thing too far by bringing everything online at the first instance especially at the early stages. When you are defrauded or think you are about to be defrauded, engage the rider for at least 1-2 days. If no tangible explanation is coming forth or if she is still recalcitrant, then one can bring it and investigations will start.

Infact, its even obvious from her instagram page that this girl is a fashion designer and creative artist. Nobody should bring her company to disrepute please. Because should anybody google her number, it may pop up here that she is a criminal and her page pictures will show up too. From my observation, this is still a clear case of misunderstanding. I may be wrong though.

Why am saying this is I wouldn't want a situation where this thing will become outright childish and stupid. Any slightest thing, we rush to spray there pictures online.

Infact the other girl was harassed both on social media and on phone because IT BECAME CLEAR THAT HER INTENT WAS TO DEFRAUD AND TO STEAL. She insulted drivers that tried to reach across to her. Thats when I personally decided to make her see hell on earth.

P.S
For those of you who think this is a female thing, wait till the day a male scammer is brought here with clear evidence. Then you can judge if we are being pro male or pro female. While I may have personal issues with the female gender based on nasty experiences from them on this job, it doesn't remove the fact that crime is crime irrespective of gender.
Well said. It was a clear case of misunderstanding. I think her pictures should be deleted. Too early, rash and uncalled for.

i wrote that already, international means of transportation whether by sea or air, train are were one of the fastest ways the virus spread, in the case of Nigeria, 90% of all transportation into nigeria is through the air, so there is a chance that those who will be infected will get it from an infected person coming through our airport.

to divert a little most cases of contact have been with interaction with Chinese citizens, for instance in Germany, a man from China infected several employees of an auto producer in Bavaria in January, about 400 people who could have been at risk of spreading the virus were identified and placed in isolation in their homes.

another means is the church, in south korea for instance, about half of the 433 confirmed cases were linked to a church called hincheonji Church of Jesus, one of the biggest church in the country, a victim came for healing and infected others.

anyway, you guys need to be careful.

This is how Hackney permit and Lasdri was created on uber, raising false alarm. If we all ignored it and carried on working, it would have faded out. The invaders are out again with a new one. This should be totally ignored. Omoshodi is a tout working with NURTW. Sexylassy and her husband are both taxi drivers at the airport. They have one interest in common: To destroy the e-hailing industry. Can we all ignore these people?
