Stop what?

Your article is about the US, I see no similarities with what is going on in northern ItalyMexico or what will happen in our shores.

Cities and towns in northern ItalyMexico are on lock down, shops are closed, schools are closed, the death row is increasing because of more mismanagement, the Italian Mexican govt is seeking support from EU

But how does your article relate with Italy or Nigeria?

This is how Hackney permit and Lasdri was created on uber, raising false alarm. If we all ignored it and carried on working, it would have faded out. The invaders are out again with a new one. This should be totally ignored. Omoshodi is a tout working with NURTW. Sexylassy and her husband are both taxi drivers at the airport. They have one interest in common: To destroy the e-hailing industry. Can we all ignore these people?
Bolt included the two in the message they sent to drivers, it's not false

You dont have to Google it, agreed that's how it is in developed countries. Question is..
Why is it that it is only ways to make money from the general public they love copying from developed countries? They will never copy how to pay unemployed youths or how to provide good roads, good healthcare and so on.

When it comes to building their pockets they will get serious and smart but when it comes to building the country they become so dull and sluggish

The best way for an uber driver to avoid getting infected is to switch off his app, lock himself in his house and sleep.

As long as you wake up everyday, you life is in God's hands. The person you'll pick in his house may have gotten it from someone that got it from someone that got it from someone that arrived Nigeria yesterday through Seme border

But then, she still has a point
We cannot completely avoid being infected, but that doesn't mean we shouldn't minimize our chances of getting infected

Isn't that what NYSC is? If you do well there you parlay it to a good opportunity? Not being a dick, seriously asking.

Roads are way better than when I left. Even America still had serious Medicare issues.

Honestly, I was pleasantly surprised by what I met when I got back.

No NYSC is just like a temporary job and you do well there doesn't guarantee anything. I'm talking about monthly allowance received by babies and unemployed adults in countries like Canada.

About roads, it's possible your movements are limited to lekki and it's environs. Come to the mainland, though they just fixed many roads so you can wait till next dry season because the rains will surely wash away majority of the roads.

For instance, Japanese will always use their cars even in foreign countries but our government turned down proposal to use innoson cars and opted for 400 Toyota cars. They only copy what benefits their pockets smiley

Why not get HP and make the 750k as down payment for a tokunbo. Pay up the balance within a year or 18 months as you wish and you're the owner. My opinion though cool.

Now may be the best time to get those masks on guys
Breaking:
FIRST CASE OF CORONAVIRUS CONFIRMED IN LAGOS

The Ministry of Health in Lagos State has confirmed its first case of COVID-19 and reported it to the Federal Ministry of Health.
The case, which was confirmed on the 27th of February 2020, is the first case to be reported in Nigeria since the outbreak in China in January 2020.

The case is an Italian citizen who entered Nigeria on the 25th of Feburary from Milan, Italy for a brief business visit. He fell ill on the 26th February and was transfered to Lagos State Biosecurity Facilities for isolation and testing.
COVID-19 infection was confirmed by the Virology Laboratory of the Lagos University Teaching Hospital, part of the Laboratory Network of the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control. The patient is clinically stable, with no serious symptoms, and is being managed at the Infectious Disease Hospital in Yaba, Lagos.

The Government of Lagos State under the Governor as the COVID-19 Incident Commander, through the the Lagos State Ministry of Health, has been strengthening measures to ensure that any outbreak in Lagos is controlled and contained quickly in collaboration with the multi-sectoral Coronavirus Preparedness Group, led by the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC). We have immediately activated the State Emergency Operations Centre to respond to this case and implement firm control measures.

I wish to assure all Lagosians and Nigerians that we have been strengthening our preparedness since the first confirmation of cases in China. We will use all the resources made available by the State and the Federal Government to respond to this case.

We are working to identify all the contacts of the patient, since he arrived in Nigeria. Please, be reminded that most people who become infected may experience only a mild illness and recover easily, but it can be more severe in others, particularly the elderly and persons with other underlying chronic illnesses. All Lagosians should take care of their health and maintain hand and respiratory hygiene to protect themselves and others, including their own families, following the precautions below:

1. Regularly and thoroughly wash your hands with soap and water, and use alcohol-based hand sanitiser.
2. Maintain at least 1 & half metres (5 feet) distance between you apnd anyone who is coughing or sneezing.
3. People coughing persistently or sneezing should stay indoors or keep a social distance, but not mix with a crowd.
4. Ensure that you and people around you follow good respiratory hygiene by covering mouths and noses with a handkerchief or tissue while sneezing or coughing. You can also sneeze or cough into your sleeve at the bent elbow. Then dispose of the used tissue immediately.
5. Stay indoors if you feel unwell with symptoms, such as fever, cough and difficulty in breathing. Please call Lagos State Emergency hotlines 08023169485 or 08033565529 or 08052817243 which are available day and night.
6. Stay informed on the latest developments about COVID-19 through official channels on TV and Radio, the Social Media, including the Lagos State Ministry of Health, NCDC and Federal Ministry of Health.

Citizens must not abuse social media and indulge in spreading misinformation that causes fear and panic. The Lagos State Ministry of Health, in collaboration with Nigeria Centre for Disease Control, will continue to provide updates and will initiate all measures required to prevent the spread of any outbreak in Lagos.

Prof Akin Abayomi
Commissioner for Health
Lagos State.

Masks don't help unless you plan on being sneezed on. You need to buy anti-bacterial wipes to wipe down after rides and not shake hands.

I don't engage in stupidity and I don't support fooolishness.

Unless am being shortsighted, I can't see where this lady in question refused to pay. Infact this is not even a case of robbery yet.

Her only assertion was that she needs to see the fare review and receipt from bolt which nobody is sure whether she has seen or not.

Please lets not start taking this thing too far by bringing everything online at the first instance especially at the early stages. When you are defrauded or think you are about to be defrauded, engage the rider for at least 1-2 days. If no tangible explanation is coming forth or if she is still recalcitrant, then one can bring it and investigations will start.

Infact, its even obvious from her instagram page that this girl is a fashion designer and creative artist. Nobody should bring her company to disrepute please. Because should anybody google her number, it may pop up here that she is a criminal and her page pictures will show up too. From my observation, this is still a clear case of misunderstanding. I may be wrong though.

Why am saying this is I wouldn't want a situation where this thing will become outright childish and stupid. Any slightest thing, we rush to spray their pictures online.

Infact the other girl was harassed both on social media and on phone because IT BECAME CLEAR THAT HER INTENT WAS TO DEFRAUD AND TO STEAL. She insulted drivers that tried to reach across to her. Thats when I personally decided to make her see hell on earth.

N.B
(1) For those of you who think this is a female thing, wait till the day a male scammer is brought here with clear evidence. Then you can judge if we are being pro male or pro female. While I may have personal issues with the female gender based on nasty experiences from them on this job, it doesn't remove the fact that crime is crime irrespective of gender.

(2) If any driver should use Saka or try to defraud a rider by adjusting the fares in one way or the other and then try to drag reputable people into his war of atrition, ogun will finally remember you. Am saying this because this may happen soon here. If you try to defraud a rider and then try to use us to harass the person to pay you fraudulently, be rest assured that your tyres will turn to ballons one day when on high speed. You know the implications!
