It has finally happened... China did a good work keeping the virus to some extent contained... But Italy is busy spreading the virus around the world...

This man has been in the country since 25th February and it takes less than 15 seconds to infect someone else... It means this virus is spreading in Lagos as we speak.

The man has been in Nigeria, since 25th of this month, and was tested 2 days later, only God knows how many people he has made contact with and those that made contact with those that made contact with him. The list would be endless with our overpopulated environment like the brt, church, mosque, etc.
I believe our government is to be blame for any death of his citizens because of the poor screening exercise in our international airport. Common sense should have told them that citizens from china, italy, south korean,(or better still any country with the case of it) should be quarantine for some while before releasing them to the public but foreigners are first class citizens and nigerians are second class citizens and so must not be subjected at first to this.
God help us, the best for now is to wear mask or better still stay indoors if you don't have anything serious doing and I hope our government don't politicize this by downplaying numbers to look good because that was the main cause of the outbreak in china.

The problem is, that mask has little or no protection. It does not seal the face completely. Air can go in and out from the sides.
This is a scary news! cry

Trust me this na scam so they can actually Embezzle the 650 million they had Already Requested.

Still, Nigeria no dey take last . we must follow carry Coronavirus and dey news.

Las las we go win am and Life Continue .

If it's a scam, then go contract the virus and confirm to us that it's truly a scam. I would really want to know so l can tell that my dumb and 'maleducated' friend who thinks a major disease outbreak such as this and which has killed thousands of people in different countries is a scam for the countries to get some dollars to pocket.

Abeg, I take God beg you, when you contract it, just stay far away from infecting innocent people. We will surely be praying for your swift recovery from here.

And pls, totally refrain from spreading this kind of ridiculous and obnoxious conspiracy theory you're concocting. It's nauseating.

You are right. However, I wish to note that the man arrived 25th, developed mild symptoms and was hospitalised on the 26th whereby isolation protocols began based on his travel history. The Covid-19 confirmation test came in on the 27th. This is some scary news, but we will be fine
Re: Coronavirus: Nigeria Confirms First Case by Nobody: 4:55am On Feb 28, 2020
I remain calm...

We've been here before. Only this time, Sawyer happens to be an Italian.

But how come nobody thought about how quickly the virus had been spreading around Italy?

I've been watching it all along myself but I guess the "authorities" were too fixated on China to be worried about other countries like Italy and Iran. Now, it's hit us from the direction we were not quite looking in.

Now, it's time to roll out the ebola virus playbook and deploy all the strategies contained in that very book. And the script must be followed to the letter.
