Why not get HP and make the 750k as down payment for a tokunbo. Pay up the balance within a year or 18 months as you wish and you're the owner. My opinion though cool.
What kind of slavery mentality advice is this?

Asking a potential entrepreneur to settle for less? Can you imagine!

Guys, seems this chick is trying to prove stubborn with her response.
Went online and found this piece of information about her. Just in case she doesn't want to pay that guy.
Can you please remove her picture? I'm pleading, this lady has paid, she did not block anyone or play smart. She stated her own side of the story and it was resolved. The issue was a misunderstanding that needed to handled. It's not fair to still have her picture here.

Getting 400-600k loan is far better. This man already has 1million naira. It will take him less time to settle it, whatever he earns on the car is fully his and he can always pay his loan back from there. He can pay up the loan in 4-6 months rather than 18 months servicing HP paying almost double of the car worth.

Masks don't help unless you plan on being sneezed on. You need to buy anti-bacterial wipes to wipe down after rides and not shake hands.
I think they say it's airborne, and how will anti bacterial wipes work against virus
Please can you explain further. Thanks

Lagos guys, stay woke.

Am very sure Abuja will be on red alert.

follow trends and you will see a pattern

Nigeria know that disease is going global but didnt issue any travel warning or ban some countries with high infection rate from coming into the country.

what do you expect when a country is not following common sense procedures

When an area on the map is having red color with odd written in it I thought it's signifies traffic on request. How come one in the center of it but not getting request for like an hour?!

Which kind scam soji be that na

Riders are afraid of uber’s surge. Bolt is a cheaper alternative when it comes to surge. That’s why you must get a request in 10 seconds max when you’re in bolt’s surge area.

Ever since i have been following this page,i have noticed, they put more pressures on drivers than it should be, some of my friends doing this e-hailing business are not even aware of hackney and lasdri till today until the message was sent to them by Uber group.
Anytime i put a call across to them and ask them about all these stuffs going on here, they be like....E no concern them, that na me know where i dey get my info.

Apart from collective efforts of retrieving money from die-hard riders, nothing is special here.
too much of foul languages used by jobless drivers. lol

See your mouth. It was this same platform that you got almost the information and experience before you embarked on your ehailing journey, yes/no?

That said, You deserve to be shot under your legs lol

Ha! Wahala! This means the person that transported the italian from the airport is most likely infected and also spreading it to his family.

it is better to be on the safe side, mask and alcohol based sanitizer is better

producer of anti bacterial wipes will tell consumers that their wipes are effective against coronavirus

coronavirus” is a generic term. COVID- 19 is a specific genus -- different than what's on the back of wipes.

it's true disinfecting wipes can protect against coronavirus, it's not saying it will kill COVID-19.

it's true sanitizers kill coronavirus, but not necessarily COVID-19

Elders in the house, pls what could possibly be wrong with my ac. It only get cool when car is on motion. I have done several servicing on the compressor, still persist. Also, I noticed this maintenance required light showing on my dashboard.
most likely that compressor isn't pumping as it should (low pump). You will have to change it. I'm currently facing same issue.

Airport cabs pay FAAN, we don't

Black taxis pay the airport authority in London I suppose having said that, Airports abroad are privately managed, as a result more responsive, Gatwick London which is 3 times the size of MMA is managed by a Nigerian company, the same company just sold the city Airport in London

Aren't you drivers especially those who pick up passengers from the airport scared of coronavirus, this virus is spreading like wild fire, in no time, this virus will land our shore, some uber and taxify drivers might be the first point of this virus, have you kept protective measures in place, know that if you catch this virus from a rider, this e hailing companies you worship so badly will abandon you.

This virus is in every almost continent except south america, in Africa, Algeria is the first country to have it, it was brought by an Italian who knew he had the virus.

Instead of arguing aimlessly, prepare for coronavirus because I am sure that when this virus land our shores, Lagos is in trouble, it will practically destroy our health care system.

From what l heard Negroes (Africans) and small kids have a kinda immunity to this disease, Chinese scientist quote, if you remember avian flu from the same China didn’t kill anyone in Africa either, l heard this disease is from the Chinese love for all types of Bush meat, this is bay bushmeat the source of corona virus the same source of Ebola

No offense, but I can't see any meaning in this

How is an uber driver supposed to protect himself from the virus?
He shouldn't pick people from the airport, but pick people outside the airport?

Or better still, in your benevolence, kindly tell us how an average Nigerian can actually protect himself from the virus.

I find the phrase "arguing aimlessly" very insulting. This is our thread, our parlour and our lounge grin

We come here to laugh, fight, have fun do whatever we like

It's a free entry thread, but don't come and tell us that we argue aimlessly. That's insulting

That said, good morning

The must common form or protection seems to be a face mask and perhaps a disinfectant spray of the car once the passenger leaves the vehicle may God bless your hustle folks and keep you safe

That's my major concern, not the price. I think I'd rather leave ehailing than get my car tagged officially as a taxi. Nurtw guys and local government touts will so frustrate uber drivers

Let’s wait and see, hopefully UBER and BOLT will come up with something good, doubt if e-hailing can be unionised

My point is if advanced countries can shut down their towns, cities and school and limit international flight from entering their country, why cant you as an individual also limit and reduce the risk of contacting the disease espcially in a developing country like Nigeria with a broken health system

if a good number of International flight have been checked, how come an italian with the virus landed in Algeria? How come the virus is in france, italy, finland, spain, isreal, greece, austia, Australia, Kuwait, india, Pakistan, Switzerland,US, UK,Estonia, Denmark, south korea,Romania, norway, germany, in japan, in iran? a virus that started in wuhan, is now all over the world, how come?

This basically shows that International airports, flights and other means of international transportation were one of the reasons why the virus spread to other countries very fast.

also the virus incubation period is 7-14 days, it means that if an individual contact the virus, the virus carrier wont show signs of illness until 2-14 days, after china, another country with an high exposure is south korea, where half of comfirmed cases were linked to a church called Shincheonji Church of Jesus which is the fourth-largest in the country.

japan recently shut down its public schools over the virus

https://punchng.com/japan-shuts-down-public-schools-over-coronavirus/

if these virus can be over the world, i believe this virus is in Nigeria already especially with almost 120,000 Chinese flying in and out of Nigeria and also Nigerian business men and women flying into Nigeria. one of them them must have brought this virus here but the govt is trying hard to control the news so that people wont panic

It will be so nice if you can make respectful post, you have this habit of being needlessly rude, Pls try to be polite, God bless

what is your business with the yellow taxi, it is up to them to do whatever they want to do, your business should be personal safety not concern about a competitor, if a competitor wants to carry a full blown ebola or coronovirus victims, it is up to them, yours is to save yourself.

it is more than a flu, it is a virus that can destroy our country

according to stats, their are 82,585 world wide cases and 2,814 death

What a nasty post are yellow cabs not our compatriots, so what if they are our competitors for a woman your statement is pretty heartless and shows a lack of compassion, there is more to life then money.
Love for example is free and priceless, loving your neighbours as you love yourself.

I don't engage in stupidity and I don't support fooolishness.

Unless am being shortsighted, I can't see where this lady in question refused to pay. Infact this is not even a case of robbery yet.

Her only assertion was that she needs to see the fare review and receipt from bolt which nobody is sure whether she has seen or not.

Please lets not start taking this thing too far by bringing everything online at the first instance especially at the early stages. When you are defrauded or think you are about to be defrauded, engage the rider for at least 1-2 days. If no tangible explanation is coming forth or if she is still recalcitrant, then one can bring it and investigations will start.

Infact, its even obvious from her instagram page that this girl is a fashion designer and creative artist. Nobody should bring her company to disrepute please. Because should anybody google her number, it may pop up here that she is a criminal and her page pictures will show up too. From my observation, this is still a clear case of misunderstanding. I may be wrong though.

Why am saying this is I wouldn't want a situation where this thing will become outright childish and stupid. Any slightest thing, we rush to spray their pictures online.

Infact the other girl was harassed both on social media and on phone because IT BECAME CLEAR THAT HER INTENT WAS TO DEFRAUD AND TO STEAL. She insulted drivers that tried to reach across to her. Thats when I personally decided to make her see hell on earth.

N.B
(1) For those of you who think this is a female thing, wait till the day a male scammer is brought here with clear evidence. Then you can judge if we are being pro male or pro female. While I may have personal issues with the female gender based on nasty experiences from them on this job, it doesn't remove the fact that crime is crime irrespective of gender.

(2) If any driver should use Saka or try to defraud a rider by adjusting the fares in one way or the other and then try to drag reputable people into his war of atrition, ogun will finally remember you. Am saying this because this may happen soon here. If you try to defraud a rider and then try to use us to harass the person to pay you fraudulently, be rest assured that your tyres will turn to ballons one day when on high speed. You know the implications!

I’ve been reading your post for a while, lam afraid but I see signs of mental degeneration, without being rude, l think you need a mental check.
