I hope Arteta is happy
Martinez was available and kept our group stage until now, I can't count Leno errors leading to goal this season

Well, it's all good. Sod mentioned same players playing so many games within a matter of days and I think that's what affected the players. Tho I didn't watch the match ystdy but our prior match, you could see almost all the guys were tired, most notably saka. He should have rotated the squad well and still bring out a strong squad. Introduction of Martinelli, torreira and AMN(for saka...I know not his right position, but he's played there b4, once or twice) could made the squad still strong enough

Now the champions league next season will be so tough to reach.

All in all, we move tho

Arteta needs to raise his hand for this one.
His inexperience is top notch. But he is a good coach. He needs to consider players recovery period. Aubameyang's missed goal was due to fatigue. Had he been on for just the second half, he'd been fresh enough to gather the composure to finish it. Fatigue!

We should be looking at a way to tempt him away from that useless club, am sure he would happily take the chance sef.

He hasn't played any champions league match with Assnal, he's last champions league outing was with Dortmund. I think he would come if Chelsea can make him a good offer.

An Arsenal fan based website have suggested we kick Ozil out of our starting line up. As in what does he bring to the table these days? He easily switches off on defensive duties and it's not like he has bunch of assists to make up with as he did before. So why start him at the expense of young upcoming players (I am not talking about Willock please) that are willing to work their socks off to keep a shirt.

We go 4-4-2
......................... Leno........................
Bellerin.. Mustafi..... Luiz... .....Saka
Pepe.... Ceballos.... Xhaka.. Martinelli
.......... Lacazette .... Aubameyang....

Saka as fullback till we have a proper LB available.
Creativity can easily come from three angles, Ceballos, Pepe and Martinelli /Saka
Lacazette can drop into midfield for link up play and provide space for Aubameyang.

Pepe needs to work on his output. Aside the west ham goal which was well taken as he cut in to his left and hit it to the far corner, his other tries have been worrisome. He two other goals(against man u and Newcastle) was really to do with positioning than actually cutting in to his left. In summary, he needs to add end product to his play. Watched the highlights of ystdy game and I felt if only he hit the ball hard and far corner with any of the 2 opportunities he had, (one in first half, one in 2nd half extra time), we could have been singing a different song now. We can't solely be depending on auba for goals, it's just not right.

Also laca in that team need to be moved on sincerely. He hasn't been a prolific goalscorer for us, gasses out quickly and even his holdup play is not top notch, not also good aerially. We need auba there or groom nketiah and martinelli there.

Also, Amn should compete the rb spot with bellerin. Bellerin have been subpar this past few weeks. A little push in terms of competition can boost him up, if not, then straight to bench.

All in all, I feel the 442 on pitch won't work, especially those two in the middle of the park(ceb and xhaka). Our midfield will be overrun and bypassed easily

Aubameyang is bigger than this mumu club. Lampard should test his resolve by summer. Arsenal should manage their Lacasera, thats the type of low quality player they deserve.

Useless club.

Honestly, I will not hate on Auba if he decides to pitch tents from Arsenal.

The fact is that apart from Auba and Saka (incidentally both are played out of position) every other player needs to improve really to meet up with our standard. The worst for me right now is Ozil, just watching the highlights of yesterday's game, the clown was at fault for the first goal which actaully damaged everything. People blame Leno but how can Ozil just stand there like a scare crow and allow the free run and header? Totally unbelievable, shambolic. Same goes to Socratis for the second goal. So disgusting!

Talking about the 442, its actually a counter attacking formation which bypasses the midfield and allows attack mainly from the flanks. I am not Arteta but I think it will maximise the strengths of our players.

I respectfully disagree with your attempt to scapegoat Ozil for yesterday’s loss. Do I think we should move on from Ozil? Absolutely!!! I have said that over and over again on this thread despite how much I like Ozil. But is he the reason we lost yesterday? Absolutely not!!!

I said it yesterday and I will repeat it, Arteta, no one else should take the blame for yesterday’s loss. His player selection/ substitution left a lot to be desired. Why is Martinelli not starting? Why are playing the same midfield that started the last 2 games in such a short span? Why are we not playing fitter players? Mustafi limped off with a hamstring, do you wonder why?

Why are you speaking like we have not been horrendous at defending set pieces for more than 4 seasons now? Arteta employed zonal marking for the corner that led to the first goal. Opposing players running to the ball is one of the consequence of employing that tactics. It is basically a free header. We have seen that sort of goal against Arsenal, over and over again!

We dominated possession throughout the game but failed to convert. Do I need to remind you how many chances Laca and others scuffed and missed? Some of these chances were created by Ozil. The hockey assist for Auba to draw us level was created by who? We looked dangerous going forward in the 2nd half but the truth is our players were exhausted and fatigued, which leads me to question the level of intensity during trainings.

Are we training too hard that the players have nothing left to give during match days? We have basically been playing only one half of all our games. They could not stay on their feet or make that extra run for that pass. Arteta should shoulder this one entirely.

We have not been good since the winter break, irrespective of the wins. We went on a break for almost 2 weeks and our first game back and against Newcastle we looked jaded and without chemistry. We took the same mentality to Greece where we almost lost, save for Leno. We did the same thing against Everton but Leno saved us again but we ran out of luck against a resilient Olympiacos.

Arteta seems like a quick learner but he should be careful so he does not run the roster to the ground especially when you have very little quality to pick from. I raised this concern about a month ago before Saka went down, now it’s Mustafi who has picked form, next is who? He needs to be smart with his selections and substitutions.

Hopefully this is a learning curve for him.

Are you here to discuss football or to be an idiotic twerp? Does the gender of the person behind the keypad matter? Or do you discuss football here with ulterior motives?
I have been ignoring that baseless allegation that i may be a male because i do not really care what anyone thinks i am as it does not affect me in any way. Calling me a male will not give me a dick. But you should really think before typing rubbish with those your worthless and cursed fingers.
