verod capital buying 100% of this stock at N1.23. If you are in the bus from 20k, Congratulations

52 weeks low is 33k, an upside of about 400%.

The purchase price will be reviewed by Verod to between N1.35k and N1.40k.

You should watch out for more of these opportunities in the insurance sector, most especially from those that will be acquired by big Insurance companies or core investors because they might not be able to meet up with NAICOM recapitalisation deadline.

The guy who bought 200 million units of Sovereign Trust Insurance company shares about a week ago might know what he is doing.

NB, I own AIICO, Axa Mansard, Custodian and Allied shares and these are capitalised beyond NAICOM specifications, except for AIICO who can easily get the balance by retaining part of the profits for 2019

And you are expecting Dividend for what year?

They paid N1.50k for 2018. They should be able to pay more for 2019 since their debt has been reduced drastically.

You are truly on point. We need God to intervene, imagine the effect of corona virus bringing down the price of crude oil to below $40, which will likely happen soon, our country economy will be seriously affected, most state can't be able to pay their worker, meaning that another recession is seriously coming and this will lead to currency devaluation.

Truly we need God intervention. The speed with which investors are dropping their holdings in Nestle and GTB without looking back or thinking about dividends, show sign of great danger in the market.

If what you said is exactly the way it will happen,we go begin wait for fcmb at that 90kobo junction.

Chai.......God forbid ooooooo

I pity anyone that will die because of money.I am one of the victims of 2008 and I survived it.

I pray for anyone trapped In this outbreak to survive it too.It will be very tough to bear but with wrestling, movies, football,2 bottles of life etc one will gain happiness.

Above all, praying for God to withdraw his anger should be our memory verse these days

You know, the epidemic is not even about money, the rich or the poor, it can affect anyone regardless. It's airborne.
If it were to be African countries, different theories and wrong assertions would have been formulated. Trust the Western world to use this to deal with Africans.
Anyway, we are believing the Almighty God to intervene soonest because of His own.
May God shield us and our loved ones.

My oga,We don't know if it is the virus or Brent that is fast responding to the price fall.

Brent is currently @ below $50........If we have another case of Corona virus within this weekend, how will you forcast next week market?
Re: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by DeRuggedProf: 7:10pm On Feb 28, 2020
A point will be reached by this Corona Virus that even your cash will become useless. What is the value of cash if all producers of goods and services shut down. My people, let's use our white stuff beyond this evil virus.
Some people might be scheming all of us already.

Certainly, this is not the best time to be in the market. A good investor should know when to buy and sell. We are in a sellers' market, anybody buying now is subjecting himself to torture. The only stock that is worth buying now is a company dealing with hand sanitizers, face mask and vaccine that could tackle Chief Corona.

Though, yours truly is strapped with a seat belt inside JB and NAHCO simply because the exit door has been locked and key thrown away (No offer reasonable enough to rescue me grin).

Zenith on its way back to N19 from 17.20 or thereabout...............

When those that picked Zee at 17.20 are selling at 18.50, some will still think they're selling at loss. I hope we can all see the low prices now.
Anyway, still hold your cash if you're with fund. The lion hearted are trading now, e go still reach your fear fear turn. grin

I was able to cherry-pick mostly at the lowest price for the day. Unfortunately, I was 10k unlucky with Zenith today.

Tomorrow is another day; nothing says they cannot go lower than they did today.

The first bold cld be use as a guide. Gold a supposed safe haven is also loosing. at this moment the major asset that is appreciating is US 10 year Treasury, which if this continue wld also halt appreciation following the first bolded from Prof

As for the second bolded from Prof. Personally i dont believe conspiracy theories, my take is that this Pandemic is not being engineered, Rather it is a breakout which we shld all hope be brought under control (either through effective drugs or vaccine) as soon as possible. because if not in the long run then we are all in trouble whether you in cash stock gold treasuries bond e.t.c.
