It's been over 4months and wema bank has handled my complaints with levity. I was wrongly debited 9000naira and my money hasn't been refunded.

I am in serious need of a competent Lawyer to Sue this bank on my behalf.

No lawyer in your environment or na SAN you want hire? No disturb us jare. Escalate the issue to CBN. Before you file the case in court and pay lawyer, you've already spent N20k, where's the sense in that?

I have been to wema bank more than 4 times.

1. First they said the would request for a refund and it wouldn't take up to two weeks.
2. My second visit to the bank, I was told the transaction was successful but I told them I didn't receive any cash. They (wema bank) told me they would request for CCTV footage and it would take about 2 weeks again.
3. My third visit, I was told unity bank that I tried withdrawing money from hasn't responded with the CCTV footage request.
I had to write an email to unity bank directly again requesting for the CCTV footage of my transaction on behalf of my bank and they told me they replied wema bank already.
4. My fourth visit to wema bank , I was told unity bank is yet to provide the CCTV footage and I had to voice out that I would go to unity bank physically to Lodge a complaint and I was told by wema customer service representative that I am not meant to complaint at unity bank but at wema bank which is the bank I bank with and that I should be patient.

I visited CBN website where I lodge complaint and ever since , nothing has been done.

You want to sue a bank because of #9,000? You must kidding me. How much do you think it will cost you to prosecute the case? Do you know banks have legal department where they do not need to pay the lawyers.

Oga just calm down and keep bombing with emails to avoid spending money on transportation.

The best option is for you to post your complain on twitter and copy wema bank, unity bank and copy CBN.

The amount u will pay for a lawyer is triple that 9k, I advice u either go on their social Media and expose it

Wema bank don't reverse money. Till today my money as not been reverse since 2018.
