But man, you totally did not understand what he was saying. He stated it clearly that they are different. You can go back to his post and read again. What he was rather saying was that, call up number is thesame as NYSC number and it is different from NYSC Certificate number which is your certificate seriel number. Hope you understand his argument now. Now, back to you on the area of following instructions, Inec instruction is NYSC number and not NYSC Certificate number cos in your write up, you stressed on certificate number. Secondary I don't think Inec will use or set their computer system to screen out prospective job seekers based on NYSC number because there are some applicants that have not been given both the NYSC number or the call up number, and Inec allowed them to apply. And that is what TMG was trying to say, infact, he was trying to give hope to those with NYSC issues.

Well, I did not see 'A' while applying and am sure other people did not see 'A' either in the box provided for the NYSC number. Moreover, I have an exempted certificate and in NYSC exemption certificate the certificate number did not start with any Letter but 00...

Lemme give u an example with armed forces recruitment, wen navy say 2*1 or upper class (3:50) and u have 3:49(2*2 or lower class based on my university) u would think the navy will compromise and pick u? Brotherly government recruitments are looking for the smallest reason to screen people out because thousands more over qualified people also applied. why give such information about nysc number dat can get people disqualified. And yes most online mass recruitments, the first screening are usually done by computer randomly or u think it's people that select from thousands of applications Also, based on experience someone was screen out of an interview just because the officer felt the guy is a cultists and it turns out d applicant's dad is a 2 star General and half breed(oyibo mix with naija) lol... Anyways it all comes down to instructions

Your call up number is synonymous to the JAMB number you were given by JAMB when you signed up for admission in your institution. The state code number is synonymous to the matric number you were issued by the institution upon gaining admission there. If you are through with your service year, use the number on your discharge certificate ( the one that stsrts with A) ONLY. Else, use your state code number ( as only that can show that you made it to camp and truly serving) Do you understand?

Can you people stop all these fake salary tales? You must understand that there is basic salary and then allowances to top it up. I cannot tell you that level 8 INEC staff earn this amount because it varies per state...but just know that it is around 110 at entry level( slightly more in the HQ at Abuja)
