How Taxify And Drivers Has Been Scamming And Deducting Money From My Bank Card by jenti12(m): 9:40pm On Feb 29, 2020
Lately I don't know what the problem is with Taxify and drivers, sometimes recently I just opened my bolt app without booking any taxi, the next moment I got a bank debit alert of N800, I wondered what could have brought this, tried severally to DM @bolt_ng but they just keep asking me to bring this or that, I did a screenshot of the alert, they still said I should bring my bank statements. I showed them, they told me I would be credited but up till today I have not got a refund.
The interesting one happened yesterday on my way from Abuja, I tried to book a taxify, the guy did not reach out even though the app is showing the car is very close to me though the arrival pick up area was crowdy with cars and poorly lit , so I decided to call after like 2-3 attempts he picked and asked where I was going I told him Surulere he said he was not going. After waiting like 5-6mins I tried to book another guy still on taxify, he showed and told me his car is in the car park. He too asked where I was going, I answered he said he would prefer to go offline and charge me 3,500 meanwhile the app read about 1,800 online I told him I don't want offline at least for Security consideration. I decided I should move out of the Airport vicinity and I could get better drivers, so I decided to launch the app only to find that his page was still displaying so I called him to cancel or I report him, next he just started cursing my Father who died 40 years ago.
To my greatest surprise SMS alerts started pouring in and my accounts were deducted, first it was 2,300 then 1,700, at same location about same time.
The numbers of the drivers:
First guy - 09082271165
Second guy who cursed my Late my father- 09066144315.
I have tried to report to bolt but they have not responded to my DMs.

Please Nairalanders help me ooo, how best do I handle these guys and their employers??

I don't know how you can recover your money, but please after the recovery, delete that app. Uber is the best and only taxi service coy in Nigeria.
