its not a secret Iran backs most Shiite worldwide, just as Saudi backs sunis worldwide, Vatican backs all Catholics worldwide or American Backing Saudi and Isreal in the middle east.. the only question is when has a Shiite killed anyone anywhere to tag them terrorist Typical Western neo colonialism Propaganda always revolves around religions they used in colonizing the rest of the world, they know poor man fears religion rather than common sense Simple facts *Bin Laden the Father of modern day terrorism was from Saudi billionaire rich Family specially trained by CIA, and funded by US to lead havoc in the middle east, after US regime change Democrat Vs Republican they started fighting Alqaeda and Bin Laden retailiated, instead of fighting Saudi Bin Ladens Origin , US fought Afghanistan his adopted base and blew them to crumbs while they frolicked with Saudis *ISIS was a rag tag anti Iraq government militias, US funded them, armed them and used them to fight Sadam Husien (because they wanted Kuwait Oil) , falsely claiming he had weapon of mass destruction, Isis delivered Sadam and continued wrecking havoc in Iraq and spreading like wild fire over middle east, while US base in Iraq turned blind eye Libya under Gadhafi enjoyed prosperity, and Sub Sahel Africa enjoyed peace, until the day Gadhafi proposed an idea of trading crude oil with gold or other commodity and not US dollars, they forcefully removed any form of authority in Libya and turned it to a command less country that they massively flood with Arms which flowed from Niger, Chad to Nigeria * In the height of killing and bombing in Nigeria with tens of people being killed daily many Christian, Children and Women, the US issued a powerful sanction that Nigeria under Jonathan cant buy any weapon in the US or allied Nation, and weapon bought from other Countries cant fly over US allied countries, when Jonathan tried blackmarket in South Africa his money and plane was seized and at the end why did US purnish us so hard with people losing their lives and being blown apart? because we signed Anti Gay right bills in to Laws, same reason for withdrawal of sales of Ebola Virus, Corona Viris 4 Likes |

Commentor: Oga, any terrorist killing US nationals in the US will most likely get the electric chair. US troops have been occupying another country, killing and being killed. I believe this move is better than the status quo ante, Sir. Of course, it will be another story if the Taliban should renege on their part of the deal. 2 Likes 1 Share |

Taliban's reigns in Afghanistan begins, the current president is just a lame duck, though the country will enjoy relative peace from now on. This should serve as a warning that it is not every country that can imbibe Western ideology. |

mvem:Get your facts right. The USA are not negotiating for peaceful withdrawal. Is the Taliban holding US forces there hostage? The USA negotiated for peace between Taliban and the democratically elected government they (USA) helped install after toppling the Taliban government. The Taliban wants US forces to leave, so they can take over again and they cannot take over if US troops remain. So they negotiated that US should withdraw forces on the condition they Taliban will not topple the current government through use of military force and allow for peace. And it favors them, because they know they can takeover by the next elections since Taliban is actually very popular among afghans due to their hardline religious stance. They are islamic religious extremists and fanatics and hardcore followers of Islam and its ways. So they will win by the next elections, and the other conditions is that they won't allow their country to becoming training and breeding grounds for terrorists when they get back power, which was the main reason they were toppled by USA forces and coalition troops. Afghanistan was the terrorists training ground and camp sites for many of the terrorists groups in the Middleeast, including Alqaeda that attacked the US and US interests across the world. So it is a win-win for both parties if they abide by it, and you can see Trump already said if the Taliban doesn't honor the agreement then they will be coming back with more powerful forces and turn Afghanistan to another dustbin war site like it has been for the past 18 years. I doubt if Taliban wants that to happen again. No other country in the world in modern times can do what the US did to Afghanistan, occupy another country and dictate their affairs for 18 years. And nobody or country could say jack, even Europe dey follow them for back with support like boy boy. Now they are withdrawing and withdrawing on their own terms. Forget, na real superpower USA be. 2 Likes 1 Share |

ojobek:Al Shabab never ruled Somalia as the government in power. The Taliban was the ruling government in power (not government supporter, or government agency) in Afghanistan. Big difference, can't compare the 2 ever. |
