You should have compared the A71 to Mi note 10.

Bro and to others that can help. Pls kindly recommend a music app that is pocket friendly in terms of data and cash. It's quite tiring downloading songs from different sources nowadays. The likes of Spotify and so on which one is good pls.

the notification bar is turned on. I can see the message icon which tends to disappear in few seconds without viewing the message.

Go for the mi 9T, A71 to me isn't worth it, if u want to use Samsung, add a little cash and get S10e the Snapdragon not exynos (becos exynos lags)

I don't know if you are for real but for me i can't get a phone with, plastic body, corning gorilla glass 3, no autofocus in camera department in this 2020.. Lemme give you an assignment; go to gsmarena and read reviews of the two device you mentioned and make your choice. Note: i'm not loyal to any brand but i'm totally loyal to my wallet. Be wise
