A blind man can see that Villarreal is more into having Spain internationals than winning. What the f*ck is Paco Alcaccer doing in that team? The guy is a bum. He should get out of there.

The starting eleven for both teams playing today were all Spanish internationals.

Please do you know the reason for this?

Nigeria great Amunike leaves Maqassa after one month; Galal succeeds him

Former Super Eagles forward Emmanuel Amunike will supervise Maqassa's youth academies in Africa

Ahram Online

After just one month in charge and two games, Nigeria's great Emmanuel Amunike will step down from his role as head coach of Egyptian side Maqassa, who on Sunday appointed Ihab Galal as his successor.

"The board decided to appoint Amunike as a supervisor of Maqassa's youth academies. We are launching several academies in Africa and we have just inaugurated our first one in Tanzania," a statement read on the club's website on Sunday.

The 49-year-old was named Maqassa's boss on 1 February, taking over on a six-month contract following the sacking of Ahmed "Mido" Hossam.

Amunike, who led Tanzania at the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations, took charge of Maqassa for only two matches, with his side playing out two draws with Smouha and El-Entag El-Harby.

The former Nigeria striker is an idol figure in Egypt after hitting stardom with Zamalek in the early years of his career.

Amunike joined the Cairo giants from Nigeria's Julius Berger in 1991 and went on to win two domestic league titles and one African Champions League crown in a glorious three-year spell with the club.

Amunike also played for Portugal's Sporting, Spanish giants Barcelona and Albacete before ending his career at Jordanian club Al-Wehdat in 2004.

Maqassa reinstated their former coach Galal in order to rescue their season as the team dropped to third from bottom after a string of poor results.

The 52-year-old, who left Masry last month after an 18-month spell, enjoyed a career high during his three-year spell at Maqassa from 2014-2017, helping them secure African Champions League football for the first time in their history after they finished second in the domestic league in 2017.

Real Madrid!!!!! Mehn... If this Madrid that showed up today show up again "this way" at the Etihad, Man City will have a game on their hands!

This Madrid rocks!!! My goodness! What a performance.

And that Vinicius Jr kid has improved. He is freaking fast and damn a real good baller. In La Liga, Vinicius and Chukwueze na the real young bad-ass Baller-Wingers. I know of Ferran Torres and a few young others too in la liga but these two got what I love in my kinda wingers. They got power, mad/daring technique, pace, skills, drive and they are not afraid of anyone!!! And I mean anyone!

TheGoodJoe... Warn Pep even as you celebrate your Carabao league cup win today. wink

The only noise you will hear is from Arsenal fans in the house who will certainly rate Sarr to the high heavens only bcoz he helped Arsenal keep their invincibles records. That's all.

I don't really know the mind of Villareal's coach because no one can really know the mind of a man save God and the man himself.

I don't know if Villareal's coach is purposely been sentimental or not. However, if we must call a spade a spade, Chukwueze's stats are nothing to write home about so far and it gives any coach (sentimental or not) a big reason to relegate you.

When I mentioned his lack of end product (manifesting as a dearth of goals or assists), I was shut down and tagged all sorts but we can begin to see that at least, Villareal's coach isn't sentimental Nigerian.

And by the way, I am of the opinion that Chukwueze is very overrated

Vicinius is still hyped he hasn't meet up with his expectation can't wait for chuks to leave villareal.... Chuks has dominated Lodi twice against Brazil and ATM

B-U-M. Is he the one in Samu's position? He is a striker not a winger so what the heck do sentiments have to do with this?

I know this guy. Watched him at Valencia, watched him at Barcelona and most importantly watched him today.

Regressed?? Chuks regressed?? Chuks with better Stats than Vinicius Jr sef. Lol

Hahahahaahahaha... Look at this one. Is it bcoz I even mentioned Vinicius and Chuks together? Listen... I hope you know Chukwueze is far better than Vinicius Jr. Vinicius is really a baller but Chuks is an even better baller. No arguments. Lol

See this guy ooo.... Zidane started Marcelo today knowing Messi will play but same Zidane didnt even think of trying it against Villarreal with Chukwueze starting/playing that game. You know why? Zidane remembers. Lol... Chuks destroyed Marcelo and Zidane dreaded the thought of it happening again.
So next time you call that name Chukwueze... CALL IT WITH RESPECT! GUY NA SUPER BALLER! A WELL dreaded one too. cool

Respect man! Respect the lad! That's a sure banker World Class player in the making.
