Well, each state has group where assistance is offered. Alternatively, you can contact the Nigerian Association in your state for assistance.

Why do you want to leave your family behind? Spouse/family visa is actually more stressful than PR visa.

It is better you do the application together now except you are single.

The error is from the school. Have to the school for correction but was told nothing can be done.

You should do a court affidavit that the school made an error on your birth certificate. Mention that your birth date is same in all documents except the transcript.

I’m currently a student in Sydney doing MBA and Project Management Course (Double Masters Degree) will finish next year.

I have my bachelors in Elect/Elect and had 3 years working experience in Telecom bfr coming to Australia.

Now problem is what is the best route for me.

Questions:

1. Is it possible to get 190 or 491 nominations (using my bachelors and 3yrs telecom exp) from other states (Tas, Adelaide, NT) even when I am in Australia but not living or studying in their state.

2. Is Project Management as a Course in any of the states occupation list?

3. Is it possible to get NSW 190 or 491 nominations even when I have been living in “Sydney” for a year now (I can get upto 75points using my bachelors and 3years exp)

4. NSW and Adelaide has “Program/Project Administration” in their list, can I apply for this occupation with a degree in Project Management.

5. Should I pause the Course I’m doing here in Sydney and relocate to regional area to take up a more promising course?

I’m just confused, I don’t want to do EA assessment with my bachelors and at the end it won’t fetch me anything cos I’m onshore and in “Sydney”

You can't get 190 for any of the aforementioned states (Tas, NT and South Australia) since you didn't study up to 2years in those states and also there is a different between Project Manager and MBA/Project Management, the former is a profession (job title/position which you ascend to) while the latter is just a course. MBA/Project Management as a course isn't on the skill occupation list.
Yours options are:
Assess your bachelor's degree, head to Tasmania and try the 491 by getting a permanent or temporary job for six months, it doesn't have to be related with your nominating occupation.
Enrol in one year diploma or cert iv in trades occupation in Tasmania (make sure they're on Tassie occupational list).
For South Australia, Western Australia and Northern Territory, you may have to work up to one year in a closely related occupation.
OR
Enrol in a 2years course in any of these states, make sure that the course is on their skill occupation list and stand a chance for 190.

What was your motivation for studying MBA despite your first degree?

These are the possible options you have:

Yes, you should be able to get registration with Masters of Nursing provided the university is accredited by AHPRA. However, you will need to proof to the case officer assessing your visa application why you want to study study despite having Medicine as first degree.

If you are coming as a student, be prepared to write the AMC while still in school so you can ease into PR application. It is easier to write it while still studying compared to when you graduate and have little time to prepare.


Alternatively, write PLAB in the UK, practice in the UK for a year or two and migrate to Australia.

The points are not reducing, those that are waiting should give study route a shot if financially bouyant or opt for Canadian PR.

Most students have the opinion that 2years is long enough to get a PR and this make them feel relaxed which is not totally true as getting PR in some occupation may takes longer.
If your course is highly competitive and your points is no where near the minimum requirements for your occupation, move to a regional area and explore the opportunity there or enrol in a short program that will lead to nomination.
A lot of people are fixated to Melbourne and Sydney waiting for PR that's not forthcoming and saying there's no job in the regional areas but on the contrary people in those places are surviving.
It is better to be in a regional area and get your PR between 3 to 5years then move to a place of your choice than to be in the city running around a circle.
PS: Tasmania is not a bad place but opportunities there are limited compared to other places like VIC and NSW, their 491 is favourable to those onshore and yet most people won't give it a second thought.

Not mandatory, however any band less than 7 in IELTS is zero point for English which will reduce your total points drastically.
AIM does not require English test for assessment however you will need the English result to be able to apply for state nomination.
NT and VIC are open to minimum of IELTS 6, however these and other states also have other requirements like having 85 points in total. The possibility of having up to 75 points with zero points in English is low.
Most states won't consider an HRM with a 5.5 in IELTS when Trade occupation applicants are currently going beyond Competent English to get ITA.
IF you report directly to the MD of your organisation, please proceed with your AIM assessment while you prepare for another IELTS or switch to PTE.

Yes, the family can stay over and PA comes back.
I don't know the maximum time you can stay in Nigeria but you may not be able to apply for 191 PR at exactly 3 years cos the family members in the application has to show proof of working and living in regional Australia for 3 years.
Accommodation being expensive is relative. There are cheap accommodation in each state/city. The farther you move from the City/CBD, the cheaper.
When you also get grant, you are given 1 year to land. So you can take your time, gather the money and move once.

My motivation is job prospects beyond PR. MBA &Project Mgt are great courses in terms of getting a good job if one has paper here, the other one which is IT has been dominated by Indians and Parkistans making it difficult for other nationals to pull through,

I uploaded my transcript myself to ACS (I had requested for a copy from my university since 2018 and I've been using the same copy for a number of other things since that time). As long as the copy you have is stamped and verified/signed by your university, you should be fine.

Just enter before the date as they have advised to avoid stories that touch. All other things may be done at a more later stage. You dont want to be at the other side of the fence when it comes to immigration. My 2 cents tho

Your initial date of entry should be stated on your visa. If it's before March 8 and you can't meet up, pls send an email to DHA for extension giving cogent reason(s).

My brother in law applied for the 489 visa in October 2019. Given that the 489 visa is no more, will he be granted a 489 visa with the conditions of a 491 attached or be granted a 491 visa with its attached conditions?
