Please guys, I need help oh. I forgot to tick the part if the form that States that i have been previously denied Visa entry. This is my second application. I was sent this email this morning. Please help me. How do I respond to it. Please oh.

I believe God is on your side, not everybody is given a chance to explain such mistake, it is God that has make the VO given you a chance for a review.

1. My advise for you right now is pray to God. 2. try to defend yourself while you did not thick or answer the questions correctly, look for a good immigration lawyer that will give you clue on how to respond, make sure you do work with him/her do not allow him/her write alone, review what so ever he/she most have written add your own thought to it too or better still make research online, you will get similar issue with possible answers.

From the look of thinks you medical call is close, just comport yourself, chose the right words, the VO really want to hear you explanation, do you best to convince him, it only you and God that can help right now

You should be more worried about getting the student visa then getting admission.

Well you can get an admission with colleges hungry for international fees.

For your visa, you will need to show correct proof of funds, ties etc with an outstanding professional SOP.

All the best

Check my post on the penultimate page (556) for tips on PhD application -- which is very applicable but to a lower degree for Masters. There is a lot of funding opportunities in development economics if you look well. Best of luck. BTW, your CGPA is not that bad if you can support with good articulation of your research interests and abilities. You will have to write GRE/GMAT and score high because there is huge competition in that field.
thank you sir, can I message you

You can start filling your application to enable VO to vet your application very well, it is always advisable to apply at least 3months b4 school resumption.

Greetings fam, a similar case with Eguoski...

This is a second application. Was denied last year on October...i submitted 7days ago, forgot to tick yes ( left it No) the column that says if I have been denied visa in the past in the process... I have never been denied any visa any where apart from last year October( my first app).

Although in my letter of explanatory I address the reasons for refusal ( purpose of visit and family tie both in canada and Nigeria )

Today will make it one week I submitted my application...

Should i send a mail? Need an advice fam

I am thinking of responding that I mistakenly uploaded the wrong form IMM1294. That it was a big mistake from my part. And explain that I indeed applied for study permit last year October and was denied on November 7th base on purpose of visit before i applied on November 13th. And also address the fact that I was denied a USA B1/B2 in 2016. But unknowingly uploaded the wrong form and very sorry about as I do not have the intention of hiding any information about my previous application.

You cant mistakenly submit the wrong form. Come out clean, we all make mistakes. Admit you made a mistake!! Tie the mistake to the first refusal you had in october or so and if you have a representative form filled, you can tie the mistake to the rep. Be apologetic in your writing and look forward to a favourable decision.

It will end in praise.

CORONA-VIRUS also has effect on your Visa Applications as we speak, nothing extraordinary.....

You can postpone applying for Visa Now if you have enough time before you course starts ...

Visa Issuance has almost been halted everywhere around the world now, save your money till some encouraging news emerges on the Virus!

But if you only searching and applying to schools now, Go Ahead!

Except you have facts bro. Don't generalise issues or dissuade people from chasing their dreams. Besides, Nigeria isn't marked red yet for COVID-19. So far we have only recorded one case compared to other countries round the world.

Plus this post isn't to bad wash you please.
