This is dicey. If you and your daughter applied separately as 2 separate individuals, then you are good to go. However if there are odds affecting a participant of the joint application, it invariably affects the other
Thanks I appreciate! Also I visited Ireland last year, and on my visit my proposed itenary to the embassy was 8 days, but I use 23 days. I am about to renew my visa, please can you tell me my chances of getting the visa again, will they refuse me for overstaying my itenary? Pls kindly help me out

We all know some are looking for greener pasture and better opportunities for their children, if you wanna do sacrifice why not do it while did 50% and struggling with 50%? Since you decided on your illegal decision, you should have be with your daughter to overstay there and not come home. What’s the point of your coming home? Your husband and other kids still in Nigeria huh? Or u still want your freedom and not get stuck in UK? you may not see your daughter again for years.

Well you should have returned to those that advised you to leave your daughter in UK for further advice.

If they would know you left your daughter in UK isn’t an option for u, Straight forward answer to your question is ECO would wanna see proof you returned to Nigeria with your daughter. Well when you reapply, you could be luck and the ECO attention won’t on if your daughter returned with you or not. Good luck with that gamble. Note if anyone later helps your daughter to put in application in UK for a stay, your gamble game is off coz embassy would automatically know whenever you reapply.

Secondly about Ireland, well yes they do share info but Ireland won’t know you left your daughter in UK though but they would be aware you were issued visas.

Didn’t wanna reply u though cuz I don’t like people making half decision, get burn fully and don’t half burn OR u don’t burn at all coz the other half is a waste.

Thanks so much I really appreciate ur time and the care you have shown.Although,my daughter is 29 years! Also I visited Ireland last year, and on my visit my proposed itenary to the embassy was 8 days, but I spent 23 days in the country.I am about to renew my visa, please can you tell me my chances of getting the visa again, will they refuse me for overstaying my itenary? Pls kindly help me out

They will not know because you are applying alone. Where they ask for name & address of your family members. Use your Nigerian address for her in your application.

good day house, having a valid US visa, is it a plus for a UK visa?

By a plus I assume you mean would it count in your favour? Well, if you have used the US visa and stuck to the terms, by that I mean travelled and returned legitimately and within your proposed travel dates; it could count in your favour. However, travel history is just an element out of many factors.

Yeah having a used US visa would boost your chance of getting UK visa but you still have to meet other requirements e.g financial job and family tie to Nigeria, don’t just apply like it’s automatic and you don’t need to provide necessary docs.

Come on you should have stated you daughter isn’t underage, Pls be more open about the application. E.g was it a group application like you indicated on your application that you travelling together ? Was it your daughter first visa application. Reason I asked those questions is coz your daughter is 18+ and can make her decision to overstay without affecting u, but if you two application linked together when you applied, ECO can question you to provide proof she returned with you. Just giving possible outcome not that I’m sure of what’s gonna happen when you reapply. You could be lucky, good luck though.

Also you need to give reason why your 8days visit turned 23days, don’t complicate your application when you reapply coz they will dig more if the ECO starts doubting anything.

Okay thanks for your time..I have nothing to hide again..except that I have submitted the application to Ireland embassy VFS..I am concerned about the itenary overstay..I heard they have used it in refusing some people,I just had to try it,supposing I knew earlier I would have made a written explanation

You didnt get me, I said the monies from the gigs I was doing didnt have any influence on the closing balance when I printed my statement, they were monies that reflected on the account in October, November and december (200, 200, 150k). Which I explained that they were monies paid for gigs I did and the narrations also matched my explanation. But I get your point anyway. Keep salary account to only salary

Explanations would not work in this situation, you boosted the account with about 550k altogether like 2 monfhs to your time of submission and you want them to over look it ko joor my brother although sometimes they over look it but u were just unlucky at that time... Keep salary account to salary account and savings account to saving funds and receiving other free money.

Hi all,
I am about to apply for a UK visit visa with my wife to attend my sister's birthday.

She will take care of our accommodation and upkeep

I work for a hospital and they agreed to sponsor our flights.

However I am worried about several large deposits in my account. The account also shows regular salary payments from the Hospital.

Please house, will the deposit cause a denial of the visa?
If so, How do I get the visa approved?

If you are worried then dont apply... You already knew what would happen.

Hello Gurus, Please advice . I plan to apply for UK tourist VIsa this week. But due to Corona virus spread issue. Hope it will not not have effect in visa application as many tourist places are placing safety measures on tourist sites.

Can I still go ahead with my application or I hold on ?

Hitherto there is no directive against visa applications owing to coronavirus. However it is at the discretion of flights whether to fly or cancel certain flights because of the same issue. At the moment, flights from Nigeria are not at high risk of cancellations because there is no pandemic in Nigeria.

Hello guys

Did anyone travel to the UK in the last couple of weeks?

I understand yellow fever vaccination is now compulsory for travel from Nigeria to the UK.

Is it something I can get within few hours to my flight at that health center in MMIA?

Thanks

Emphatically yes. Bank statements up to 28 days old are accepted, but I wouldn’t advise anyone to stretch that long.

Good day Gurus in the house, I am unable to get free appointment date for assisted self service in Ikeja. Can I change my submission center to Victoria Island? If possible, how do I go about it. Travel date is April 9th.
Also, is there any email or phone number through which TLS can be contacted?
Please help

I would assume you mean you want your accommodation in the UK to be at 2 different hotels. Well, that is not a problem. A tourist with a visa must not stay in one location in the UK. A tourist is allowed to visit many cities in the UK as long as these days add up to the time quoted in the application.

I wonder why people include hotel bookings as part of their application, not saying you should not. However, ECO does not consider documented hotel bookings to decide your application albeit you would need the address of where you would be staying in the UK at application stage and at POE. Why? A lot of the hotels offer free cancellations of bookings. An applicant could book a hotel without paying, get the reservation and use it for visa application purposes, secure the visa and cancel the booking afterwards.

On the other hand, Hotel bookings would be a requirement if the application prompts (or requests) for such.

They fill out hotel bookings because you MUST have an address of where you would be staying at on your form in the UK and also at the POE.
Also those that had their hotels canceled out before a decision was made and the visa officer checked, got their visas denied cause of this.
Please if you don’t have anybody accommodating you, book your hotel straight up.
