Renewed Herdsmen Attack on Kwande Communities.

Kwande Youth Council Worldwide wish to drag the attention of Federal Government on the renewed attacks on Kwande communities by Fulani herdsmen. The attack that was witnessed last night had not less than five persons dead with tens of people wounded.

We wish to state that while there is a military presence in Adikpo, the headquarter's of Kwande doing nothing other than extorting money from motorists, the hinterlands/ people of Turan are left without security presence to protect lives and properties.

As a matter of urgent, the council call on the deployment of the military base or camp in Adikpo to Turan to help restore peace in the area.

We appreciate Bob Tyough, member Kwande/Ushongo at the federal house for his swift response calling on the attention of the house on the killings.

Are the people of Benue waiting for the last person there to be slaughtered before they will declare their own country and fight for their survival?

RUGA is the solution

Since the return to democracy in 1999, Nigeria has been grappling with diverse security challenges, chief among them are insurgency, election violence, kidnapping and most recently, the herder-farmer conflicts among others. The north central states of Benue, Plateau and Nasarawa and other states have experienced conflicts that led to thousands of deaths and displacements as a result of clashes between pastoralists (herders) and local farmers in several communities. In January 2018 alone, Amnesty International reports indicate that 168 people were killed as a result of herdsmen-farmer clashes.1

Struggle over grazing land and scarce resources have over the years resulted in perennial and growing violent conflicts in terms of frequency, intensity and geographic scope. Underpinning the escalation in frequency of conflicts in Nigeria is a confluence of environmental and demographic forces, especially desertification caused by climate change and population explosion. Expectedly, with the depletion of arable land for subsistence farming largely as a result of increasing urbanisation and the adverse effect of climate change, especially along the Lake Chad basin, there is increased struggle between herdsmen and farmers – leading to violent confrontations and conflicts, deaths and forced displacement, as well as the destruction of agriculture and livestock.

You are wicked and very heartless.

thank God for Fulani. I and other patriots were like fools then here while bringing out brothers attention to what's going on in Nigeria but now fula helped us open their eyes. see as they all trooped out in solidarity for Amotekun the other day, look how serious our govs and hoa members are going tough on implementing the amotekun bill.

now see the ones at the Senate now talking about South west development commission and all. bless God for us. Legendhero, contendedk, we did not labour in vain o. let's keep pushing, our people are waking up.

the message is clear and loud: Regionalism or Disintegration, Nigeria must choose one by fire by force.

thanks to Fulani for all their atrocities, they reminded us all of the expiration of the nonsensical country.

I wonder how it will be,if Buhari was no longer president, what will be the fate of these herdsmen?

See how they are reducing the population of Nigeria.
After killing those in the village, those in the capital and metropolis will be slaughtered too, thats the plan IMO.

The next president come 2023 should not be of northern xtract.

Only if he(d nxt) will not be doing like one mumu and dancing to the tune of some stupid northern cabals that have kept Nigeria in perpetual poverty and backwardness.

They want the entire country to be like the north.

Imagine an igbo-man rearing cows or begging on the streets and all.
