1g ram phone with 3k battery
Poor specs
3k mah is superb but the ram is not great tho.. That's what I'm using to write this.. Definitely, you must sacrifice something for less price

Good for calls only

4GB can't do much these days when fb apps consumes almost 800mb data and cache space.
16gb rom. 4gb in that picture is what has been used.

4G for 18k?
Nokia try with this phone, considering their phones are usually expensive.

@ ₦18,500 4G LTE would have made a fantabulous difference.
Na market strategy bro.
They can't just produce a phone with everything like that.

Next thing is, they'll bring Nokia C1+ with 4g nd 2gb ram.... That one price go double the first.... na business sense

Nokia C1 'Black' Unboxing and review

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hy57rIfXgcU

The Nokia C1 is the most affordable entry level smartphone from HMD and after a little digging, I discovered it's one of the most affordable phones on the market for people with a super tight budget only.

See screenshots from video below

Price: N18,500

Galaxy A2 core has 4G for 20k. I am sure, no one will apend 18k on a 3G device when an extra 2k can get you a device with 4G.

1GB /16GB? It's a waste of money..... Instead of paying 18k and starred facing fraustration of low memory complaints in less than a year, pls add to the money and buy 3GB/32GB that will give you rest of mind in the next 2 to 3 yrs

Yes I'm sure markets outside of Lagos will price it a little higher but I won't be doing anyone a service by stating a higher price than what's on Slot Website?

I don't think this was ever meant to be used as a main phone. It's something you buy for its dual SIM ability, longer battery life and very lite internet use.

It's because Nigeria lack standard such phone ougth not to have allowed into Nigeria market.. Nokia still don't realise Nigeria has grown up interms of technology..

so if Nigeria have "standards" what would be the reason for not allowing the phone into our market? Is there any health hazard associated with the phone? Hundreds of thousands of Nigerians would gladly buy it because they can't afford a 30k+ phone, BTW, the phone is not meant for Nigeria market only, it is sold globally, check GSMarena and read reviews from users in different countries.

well it's not Nokia's fault that Africans are poor and that there's a high demand for budget phones. Besides this model is also sold all over Asia as well.

The phone arrived today. Very smooth!!! My only issue with it is the screen size. I wanted a big screen. The speed with which it downloads and installs app is amazing.
