I have a friend and he is 40 years of age . He want to marry a girl of 20 years of age but most of her sister is telling him not go ahead to marry her to avoid old age. Her sister insist that if he is 60 years and her wife will be 40 years and the range is too much. They also telling him that her wife may be getting secret affair because she may think that her husband is too old after 60 years.

Friends can these be true or just to make him stay away from her. My friend is in big depress now and is not the type that can look for guidelines over the net. Positive answer is welcome. Thanks!

Yes, it is possible but the age gap is a very big concern for so many reasons.
1. They are generations apart and both may not bond properly in marriage.
2. Communication might be an issues because of their dispositions toward each other and life generally.
3. Infidelity is possible too as his sisters have noted but it should not be enough reason to deter him. What if the girl turns out to be a very faithful lady?
He should consider some other factors and not necessarily infidelity in his later age. A more matured lady who understands life and knows what she wants in a marriage might be better.

its working because Ned has money. Without that money, Regina would not look at his feet. That’s just the unfortunate reality, nothing more or nothing less. I don’t know why every guy uses his situation as an example, do you have ned Nwoko money? Most men will never get to that level of wealth, so stop trying to live vicariously through him. At 40, your marriage spec is very limited without money.

Only thing u kept mentioning repetitively was money, wealth...shows it's money or nothing for u.
We ain't talking about gold diggers with perverse minds rn, just so u know. We r talking about the probability of a 40years marrying a 20years happily... and yes there are millions of existing marriages all around the world with such age differences established. Some wealthier than ur Ned nwoko that's driving u insane, others probably not and yes their marriages are thriving.

From a logical perspective your friend will be marrying his daughter cuz at age 20 he probably got a girl pregnant and aborted it. Or by the time he graduated from the university the girl in question was nursed by one of his girlfriends somewhere.

In summary he will not be able to handle the libido of such baby.

we do not baulk at all when we give advice to people on how anything and everything is possible but when reality dawns on us, we wave it aside. To be frank, everything and anything is possible. there is no rule on age being a base for anyone to cheat. as far as a man does his manly duty at home the right way, nothing will happen.
in conclusion, a 50 year old man can marry a 20 year old woman if both families agree.

A 40 years old man is depress over a 20 years Agric girl.. SMH A 40yrs of age man should have had enough experience and be bold enough to take decision. The problem here is not the man but the young girl who have not explore life wella and not have enough experience regarding relationship. I don`t believe in people saying when a lady got married at early age without enjoying life, such lady will still do that when she is married. I think that only depends on how such girl is brought up, her maturity, her environment and the friends she keep. Sometimes a 20yrs girl would be more matured than 35yrs lady.
