As the controversy over the status of the embattled Chairman of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC), Adams Oshiomhole rages on, feelers have emerged that the governors in the party are already shopping for his replacement.

_Governors' Mandate_ gathers that most of the governors are seriously looking in the direction of three former governors from the South-South, the region to which the Chairmanship of the Party is currently zoned.

According to sources who are in the know, Chief Clement Ebri, a former governor of Cross-River state who also aspired for the exalted position and Dr. Emmanuel Uduaghan, a former governor of Delta State who joined the APC in the last dispensation are being considered.

Also shortlisted is a former Governor of Akwa Ibom state, Sen. Godswill Akpabio. Mr. Akpabio is currently the Minister of Niger Delta Affairs.

Another source however said the power brokers in the presidency are looking in the way of Chief Don Etiebet, a former Petroleum Minister and one time chairman of the defunct All Nigeria Peoples Party (ANPP). Etiebet was ANPP's chair when President Muhammadu Buhari first ran for presidency in 2003.

The source further disclosed that an emergency NEC meeting of the party may soon be convened to ratify the choice of the party hierarchy.

There is an internal coup going on, but it is a hijack on Nigeria's Political future with new Elites in Power.

The power brokers between the Buharists / Abba Kyari cabal are at battle with a coalition who feel there is need to hijack the machinery of APC, as a vehicle to propel the 2023 Timeline in the future of Nigeria, from Oshomole, who leads a think thank that is redesigning Nigeria's Leadership landscape.

It is a big deal.

Oshomole and his team are just special purpose vehicle used to put people in Power by the Presidential think-tank, they do not care how, they use instrumentality of the law as well as brute-force to alter the political dynamics from what was, to what is to be the future of Nigeria. But is it a force for good or bad? Not my business. I love the country side. Nothing as great as walking the dogs, eating fresh pineapples and banana and sitting at the beaches and watching the sun rise and fall. Being alone, reading some great books and sleeping by the pool whenever.

Let's face a thought experiment, if you follow the constitution of APC, what Oshomole's team have done is legitimate. But as good as Oshomole team is great in Party Politics, he is equally using an opposing polarity to rig APC into government while using Party politics to play within APC.

He is a very deadly fellow, a proper conman working for a team that is currently using Nigeria's Presidency as a front for their current hijack.

Buhari's camp has access to the money, and the governor's camp have gotten cash too. But there is no way Oshomole can win in this. Because it will fragment APC into two factions before 2023, and the decamping era resumes.

Everyone is rushing to grab as much wealth as possible.

What Are they looking for ?
