You said it well, Honestly when I watch the video, i was so sorry for Lingard, that he is not performing on the pitch is absolutely not what he wants, I am sure he wished he was doing very well. But it has limits. Its not out of place for lingard to request that with the level of competition in Man United, coupled with the size of the club, that he didn't think he can cope with the pressure of consistent performance at the top level, in the light of his personal issue.
