I found this somewhere and it made me think, I'm still learning...✌✌ WHEN TO BE SILENT in 20 situations. The Bible says:- 1.Be silent In the heat of anger - (Prov 14:17) 2. Be silent When you don't have all the facts - (Prov 18:13) 3. Be silent When you haven't verified the story - (Deut 17:6) 4. Be silent If your words will offend a weaker person - (1 Cor 8:11) 5. Be silent When it is time to listen - (Prov 13:1) 6. Be silent When you are tempted to make light of holy things - (Eccl 5:2) 7. Be silent When you are tempted to joke about sin - (Prov 14:9) 8. Be silent If you would be ashamed of your words later - (Prov 8: 8 ) 9. Be silent If your words would convey the wrong impression - (Prov 17:27) 10. Be silent If the issue is none of your business - (Prov 14:10) 11. Be silent When you are tempted to tell an outright lie - (Prov 4:24) 12. Be silent If your words will damage someone else's reputation - (Pro 16:27) 13. Be silent If your words will damage a friendship - (Prov 16:28) 14. Be silent When you are feeling critical - (James 3:9) 15. Be silent If you can't say it without screaming it - (Prov 25:28) 16. Be silent If your words will be a poor reflection of the Lord or your friends and family - (1 Pt 2:21-23) 17. Be silent If you may have to eat your words later - (Prov 18:21) 18. Be silent If you have already said it more than one time - (Prov 19:13) 19. Be silent When you are tempted to flatter a wicked person - (Prov 24:24) 20. Be silent When you are supposed to be working instead - (Prov 14:23) "WHOEVER GUARDS HIS MOUTH AND TONGUE KEEPS HIS SOUL FROM TROUBLES" - (Prov 21:23). May the grace of the Lord grant you & me understanding. https://m.facebook.com/story.php?story_fbid=1690171234356908&id=1359184790788889 209 Likes 49 Shares

Ok.. MOST are right! Some are contradictory. SOME wont work here in Nigeria. i.e 18. Imagine you are in a bus and the driver is driving recklessly and you warned him ONLY once about his reckless driving but he didnt heed your warning, he tried overtaking and everything went bad but you luckily managed to survive but with lots of physical evidence to tell a tale(lemme put it that way). Trust me! You'll have been sorry for not being persistent on warning him. In some cases you have to become a talkactive especially here in nigeria. Blessed is the man who, having nothing to say, abstains from giving us wordy evidence of the fact. 1 Like |

It is important to understand the fact that satan will not come with horns and red garments to deceive us, absolutely NOT. He is going to come through the lust of the eyes, lust of the fresh and the pride of life. It is also important to realise that we all have a blind spot. Job 30: 12. It is therefore important to note that the word of God is the mirror God has ordained by which we live our lives. 2 Corinthians 3: 18. Apart from God's word being our mirror, I believe we need people around us who will act as mirrors in our lives especially when we are going astray. Anyone can fall if you are not careful enough.. Falling down is not the end of life.. If he can repent and reconnect to God.. All will be well. Accepting Christ into my life will never allow U to live a wasted life.. Receiving Jesus into your life will not permit the enemy to write the last chapter of your life. Making Jesus your best friend, he will help U to rewrite your life and family history.. 12 Likes 2 Shares |

How I wish Nigerians can practice religion in actions not in their words. I'm a Muslim, all these are contain in my religion, unfortunately not everyone care to practice it. If only Christians and Muslims can humbly embrace the real saying of their religion that's when we would all enjoy our precious country. Thank you OP. May God bless you. 18 Likes |
