Cant believe a Ghanaian is trying to mock Kenyan shilling when the Cedi is the worst performing currency in Africa and 4th in the world. Knowing only coronavirus separates the cedi from the floor so far. As soon as it ends your cedi will tank 20 % p.a as usual.

the Ghaian Cedi is the best performing currency right now because it is a floating currency and it is in good standing against the current recession unfolding right before our eyes.

Hence the Ghanaian economy is well protected and countries like Kenya are going to be crushed because of exposures,



it is always good to allow your currency to float fora market valuation so that commodity price fluctuations do not affect your economy.

Currencies that controlled protected by government debts only strangles the very economy they have lordship over.
This is why the Kenyan economy is strangled.

We do not need a strong exchange rate currency especially when exchange rate is just face value, especially when we are an export-led economy.

Well to be honest, South Africa does not have some much influence in SADC as you would say a country like Tanzania or Zimbabwe cause in Africa you gain infuence when countries know no matter what you will be on their side which SA does not have that accreditation. Even in the matter of sanctions against Zimbabwe it has not been vocal compared to Tanzania. I would say apart from its economy SA doesn't have that much influence in SADC.
