That’s why all food lovers should know how to cook. Because who will cook different varieties for you to sample all the time?

1) appetizer: crab cake, avocado sauce
2)entree: fillet of Turbot (fish), broccoli, potatoes
3)dessert: chocolate mousse

Also, don’t eat everything at the same time. Space it out and practice portion control

I emphasize on Nigerian because a Cameroonian lady tried to make stew for me one time. I’m speechless to describe how awfully wrong it tasted.

Lol, very true. I do that a lot. Just throw them into the stew and fetch them by next eating. Even among Nigerians ehn, cooking spicy stew requires expertise.

I have also had my fair share of this really awful stew. So once I am out, I rather swallow than eat rice- even on “dates”.

What if the soup is bad too?

I have this not-Nigerian friend (bless her sweet gentle heart) she always makes me egusi when I visit because I’m Nigerian and by default must love egusi (which I do) but not how she makes it.

I don’t know how to tell her to stop :She’s soo sweet.

It's been a while I took my giant African snails, so yesterday I gave one of our Sabi cleaners in the office 5k to help me get some nice ones. She came back with 22 pieces of already washed and cleaned snails and 1k change. As omoluabli, I tipped her the 1k change and looked forward to a bright Saturday morning

I woke this morning to tend to my giant African snail beauties. After about 1hr 45 mins in the kitchen, I came up with this :

Pix 1- snail boiling on fire along with eggs
Pix 2- Snail and egg already cooked in better peppery stew decorated with better onions
Pix 3- The peppered snail and egg getting turned into a plastic plate to be preserved in the fridge
Pix 4- Snail lying side by side with yam fries(I got this in the mall yesternight) and set to be washed down with cold water and Magic moments vodka
