Northern Nigeria is the source or majority of the insecurity we are experiencing in this country . There are more crimes committed in the north than in the south...that's a fact.... But in the US,you can be killed anywhere and at anytime....
Does Nigeria record herdsmen and Boko Haram killings everyday? Not really
Does the US recording killings from gun related incidents everyday? Absolutely yes!

As for infant mortality,I don't think it relates to the discussion we are having... Nigeria has a poor healthcare system, that's well known...those who want better healthcare can go abroad or private hospitals . We are talking about murder rates here..

@bolded * do u have evidence of that?
@bolded ** If that's true then how did you get the figures you posted about herdsmen attack and Boko Haram attack in the country ?

And finally, before we drag the matter too far,I never said Nigeria was safe.... I'm just saying that nowhere is safe... NOWHERE!

it seems you've not been in this country? ??

I will advise you to always visit other sections like crime on nairaland probably you would have been fully abreast

in Nigeria you don't know that information are often compressed ?
I once heard a long time ago...from a military officer that whenever they reports the death of 20 soldiers know that it is far more than that...reason for the constrained information is to keep safe the people trust in the military and also not to make people afriad from joining the military.

You know better than this.... I wrote on boko haram during my project and up till now I take interest in some of their activities probably because I intend to major in conflicts resolution

who does not know last year the mass death of nigeria soldiers? ??
whydo you think they have been calls for buratai removal? You think it is because they don't like his face

what makes you think recently herdsmen attacks and boko insurgents where placed as the top 5 deadliest groups in the world and terrorist organisantions who have they been killing? if not Nigerians that make up the numbers.
why the bounty on Boko head by the US even Osama bin Laden had $5M placed on him prior his death but for boko haram commander he has $7M placed on him.

and for trying to exonerate the south from the crisis bedeviling the country...hope you're are aware that the herdsmen attack Majorly happen now in the south

please use Google to check on the deaths of Nigeria soldiers last year in the hands of boko haram terrorists you'll find out that the number out weigh the cases of homicide in the US

and for the lies that one can be killed anyway in the US baffles me same way they believe anyone can be killed anywhere in Nigeria not until you live there you'll find out that the land is more secure than you think same way after coming here and stay in major cities like Abuja they'll find out abit there is security and not everywhere Is prune to boko haram attack.

You wanna compare the accidents happenings on the roads and high ways the number of deaths

or those killed in a year from cult related activities, kidnappings and robbery

please don't paint this..Nigeria can't be compared to the US where it comes to safety at all.

if the deaths that resulted from the tanker explosion in Lagos/ibadan road was said to happened in the US too you would have even include it as a valid point

please try and always visit crime section on nairaland abit read dailies like punch online

Say hello to the elephant slayer. Former Rivers United forward Bolaji Sakin scored the all important goal yesterday as Horoya beat Enyimba.

Hehehehehe....they shouldnt be glad for long coz his days are already being numbered in the Dutch league. They won't have him for long but should keep enjoying the lad while he's still there.

This lad will make his Super Eagles debut this year for sure.

He ain't gonna be there after summer.

It wasn't the first time though. By the Lyon game, they have already mastered it. In their 1-0 away win at Nantes, he led them in the same Zanku dance showoff as seen below..... Lol

His Lille brothers have obviously inculcated the dance into their team celebrations.... Hahahaha

and some persons are trying to put Nigeria in same picture as the US in terms of security of lives. ....

mind you even the government of this country is trying tirelessly to kill Nigerians

most of the vehicles we have on our major high ways are risk vehicles normally in a first world country those vehicles won't be allowed to play village routes let alone towns and cities

Our politicians and government are gradually killing this country.... stealing from all angle even borrowing to steal

so painful we lost him all because of the football management recklesness and corruption

Yes.

Perfect is relative and unachieveable in the real sense of it.
