their tactics will splash on their faces now. Na marathon tactics dem suppose adopt. They will soon be tired when they see 500m units on offer.
Well, they may have their own strategy, maybe to start buying now and keep increasing their stake as it's falling ......I don't see the falling going on perpetually.

Access laughing at GTB, Zenith and UBA. They will be like, "Wetin the big dividend come do for una?"

Let's not forget that it is right for shareholders to rightly get dividends from the declared profits made.

I get your banter though grin

Yeah, true, diversification won't bite though. Depends on how you look at it, I should have more funds to buy at a ridiculous price after conversion then (speculative).

But wait o, Zenith at N5, hope say you wear quality helmet, make people no stone you grin

Let's look at it this way. Now Zenith is at 17.

Tomorrow is markdown. So 2.50 will be deducted. This takes it to N14.50.

If that same day there is this huge offer to exit, then take 10% off the 14.50. This brings it to N13.10.

Same offer on Wednesday, this takes it to N11.80

Thursday : 10% off, this becomes N10.7

Friday : end of discussion, same 10% offer N9.7

Then next week, we don't know the news that will be out then.

Is N5 not close?

I guess this exercise will show the importance of using volume as an additional variable before making our trading decision.

Note my previous trade recommendation (using ONLY price).

Now, I have done the volume analytics using the YEARLY charts from 2009 - 2019.

My recommendation has changed!

Recommendation: Buy at 19.42 or slightly lower.

What appears as 27.02 on the price chart has a TRUE VALUE of 19.42

Don't buy at 27.02 rather wait for its TRUE PRICE of 19.42 before buying.

Jim will just start mopping up. His dividend money alone will buy a lot of shares.

It is a moving average. Not a static one.

So if he does his own computation now till Friday close, he will get far lower figure than the 19.

Timeframe is very important.

Jim is just the baddest guy in all if this. Him alone is chopping dividend of N10billion. Imagine Zenith comes down to N5, he will be able to gobble up 2 billion more shares. I don't imagine he has any real need for that cash now since he already has billions coming in from rental income from all his numerous properties.

Highly improbable in the short term, but then as you rightly said, this is one way to look at it.

In the end, anything is possible.

There is an opportunity at the moment.

CHAIII! I FEEL AND PRAY FOR THOSE THAT ARE HEAVILY TRAPPED IN NSE RIGHT NOW. MAY GOD COMFORT YOU ALL.

FOR SOME WORDS OF ENCOURAGEMENT, I WOULD ADVISE YOU TO VISIT THIS PARTICULAR PAGE ... FROM MY HOLINESS AND RIGHTEOUSNESS THREAD.
https://www.nairaland.com/3560501/holineness-righteousness-revival-messages-bible/28#87235411

AFTER THAT START READING YOUR BIBLE IMMEDIATELY, START FROM THE BOOK OF JOHN, AND READ AS MANY CHAPTERS AS YOU CAN. TOMORROW, START FROM WHERE YOU STOPPED UNTIL YOU FINISH THE WHOLE BOOK OF JOHN. DOING THESE WOULD COUNTER ANY OTHER NEGATIVE INNER VOICES YOU WOULD START HEARING.

MAY GOD COMFORT AND CONSOLE YOU.

SHALOM!

The fight to get out of all the buses on NSE is real. Doors choked windows choked... Indeed helpers are needed to come with axes and cut them open to in order for some people to survive.. some people are already getting burnt..

Bros, there is nothing wrong with fundamentals of most company around the world.

Investors are pricing in lots of things right now with the coronavirus and oil price issues. They are even pricing in US and global recession. The US 10 year yield is pushing the Fed to do further cut.

There is flight to safety first. Everything is falling including Gold and Bitcoins.

Planned to move some of my money to crypto( stable coins).
When I opened binance this morning, BUSD was already exchanging for N369(361 as Friday last week) .the exchange rate was already going up...

It's not end of the world yet, make those creating fear relax biko.
My only take is for individuals to have a plan going forward cos some unseen forces are at work ......it will continue to go upandan
The main thing is to be looking for fund and more fund now. Then restragize.

Posts are meant for the moment. I did not see the coronavirus making things worse like this. The disagreement between Russia and Saudi Arabia was not planned to be like this. Many things are happening that have totally changed the complexion of things. At least one will take solace that dividends will keep on rolling in till things get better maybe in 2021 or 2022.
