Guru in the house I Hail oo. Is Toyota Prius Hybrid ideal for Uber in Lagos?

If the battery is good you will earn more driving a Prius, unfurtunaly Nigerians don't like hybrid cars but very soon everybody will embrace hybrid and EV cars.... There is no going back on that. If you have a hybrid don't hesitate to use it.

too many cancellations bro
Let me give you a tip on how to avoid getting blocked due to too many cancellations.

At the end of every working day, check your activity score before you close for the day. If you see that you have exceeded 48% of cancellations, do this: stay online, accept any trip that enters, turn off network for the phone number your rider will call, slide on arriving now and wait. Some riders will cancel but if the rider did not cancel wait for 5 minutes then cancel.

If you want it to be faster, increase your radar/coverage to 20km. Sometimes I will be on my bed in Ajah and accept requests from Ikorodu

The screenshot below is from this evening, my cancellation rate was at 56% when I closed. I have balanced it! cool

P.s Do this at your own discretion

I gave this rider grace of a week but he is proving stubborn

My plan was type his number before in A4 paper as a fast loan giver and paste around Lagos...

His phone number is +2348177149451

He's not proving stubborn, he is stupid. He said you cheated and he's not gonna pay, I try to advise that since he has his receipt for the ride, then the driver didn't manipulate it. He told me, he saw you do something on your phone.
Anyway he isn't gonna pay he told me so. He said, if una like make una block me from using Bolt. I go use Uber.

So bro, I suggest you go ahead with your plans, even print another one that says.

25 Keke Marwa for sale 20k each.

Not the Palm Avenue side, I mean of you're coming to palm Avenue from Layi Oyekanmi, I was suppose to turn right and probably come out at the Roundabout not cross over to Palm Avenue, just be on the look out for their hidden road signs.

The "eating thing" beats me, I mean how will a full grown adult eat in a stranger's car n be damn comfortable about it.

They eat n litter wt particles / crumbs everywhere, I'm like if all the riders ate in this manner, you won't be comfortable sitting in that same seat.

Shame on some riders.
As in enh...very annoying.

That was how two of them was just eating chewing mouth like rabbit last night all the way from ICM to magodu isheri, talking and laughing loud... Grown up lovers abi husband and wife self I wouldn't know. I just gave them 1star.

Put a sign that says no eating in the car .. Make sure the sign is professionally done, and it is in view of anyone that sits in the car ..
Most importantly the sign has to be nicely done and printed
Please anyone with this sign should kindly assist because in tired giving orientation to adults.

@Felicity, I simply roll down my glass if the person is nice otherwise, I pull over and tell you to come down.

Meanwhile, I don't know why but my prayer point this morning before leaving the house was not to be entangled with Lastma. Funny enough "the thing come happen....".

Scene 1: Was supposed to pick a rider near UBA marina , told him to wait at the Atm turning on broad street, I didn't see him after merry go round the third time as I pick am, n.a. so Lastma block me , ask for Drivers license etc. Saw my Surname and ask if I'm from somewhere, I responded Las las I tell them make them no vex say I be staff.

Scene 2; Picked this Yahoo boy sort of from surulere who was in a hurry to get to the airport, at the junction of Layi Oyekanmi linking palm avenue or going straight to Daleko, n.a. so Local govt tout jump out with spikes , wan enter car , I beg them say I be staff, n.a. so them smile free me.

Honestly, I've been lucky today and I thank God, n.a. so money for enter bush. Always commit your day into God's hands for those that believe.

As I dey so I don close , Sergeant Moridele is on his way home , tomorrow is another day by His Grace.
Lol... His grace is sufficient for us. Keep having more of it brother.

One love to everyone

You are blessed bro.
Its not just about profit but passion, knowledge and understanding is the key.
Its not a 1+1 business like ehailing.
Just like sexylassie earlier said. flu can visit and kill all the birds if its poultry. While crops can die as a result of pests, climate conditions etc.
Farming is beyond all these 2 -4 weeks vocstional trainings people advertise.
It requires deep knowledge to succeed in it. Though, it still remain one of d best business in the country.
Sorry for derailing the thread as this is ehailing thread
Very correct my brother... A deep understanding is needed.

Every car is super good as long as it's healthy... If you buy a Kia that has been over used and abuse you will get what you paid for, same with Corolla. The secret is not buying corolla but buying a healthy car and also avoid buying cars that are way cheaper than the average price.

Car are usually not cheap for no reason, in most cases cars that has done close to 300k miles are bought cheaper and also avoid most of this cars with 80k mileage, 90% of them have high mileage except if you are able to run a carfax report to know if the mileage has been tempered.

I don't believe in Toyota I belive in a healthy car.

No need for arguments. I have not spent half of the money I spent on my kia on maintenance.

I don’t believe in toyota, I believe in the corolla lol

Healthy car or not, just change engine if e cast and you get to use another 10 years! grin
