The 4-4-2 looks ideal, because McTom also gets to play in it. Having Fred, McTom, Pogba and Bruno looks really good on table (though), with Rashford and Martial upfront.

However, if Sancho joins ahead of next season, that changes a lot of things.

Pogba might even leave during the summer window anyway, so let's see how things pan out.

Let’s see what happens with Pogba during the transfer window. One thing Ed must get done this time is to get a RW. Even if we don’t get Sancho, we must at least get someone that’s a clear upgrade on that wing.

Well recently, Fred is covering more grounds than McTom.

There is nothing wrong having a strong Bench as first XI, thus I wouldn't start McTom, Fred, Pogba and Bruno at once.

Meanwhile, I would definitely opt for 4 - 2 - 3 - 1 Formation. I know McTom is developing well, but at the moment - Fred over him. Pivot of Pogba and Fred behind Sancho*, Bruno and Rashford, while Martial leads the Attack.
