So PSG lived up to their favorites tag. Well, my heart was with Dortmund but Neymar stepped up his game today and when Neymar means business, then the team he plays for is hard to stop. Better luck next time Dortmund and Haaland.

As for Liverpool... Kaaaiiii... Danielnino00 I sympathize with thee oh faithful red merseysider. To be honest, when Firmino scored that goal, I was here thinking it was all over and that they have done it again but lo and behold I forgot that Atletico were a team who will not give up and "gra-gra" their way into anything. My bro Daniel, take heart inugo. At least, una go win EPL after how many years again? Be like say my mama and papa never even meet sef not to talk of marry when una win English league last... grin

That West Ham game started you guys' fall from a treble dream. That West Ham you managed to win 3-2. That was the beginning of all this.

Blueelf:
I warned all Liverpool fans about hubris but on every platform, my advice was met with unmatched opprobrium.

Hope this clears all forms of pride. We aren't there yet. Congrats to athletico

Chaaaiii... Liverpool. The pains get even deeper when you consider that Marcos Llorente only had one goal and Zero assist in all comps in 22 games so far this season ONLY FOR HIM TO BANG IN TWO AND BAG AN ASSIST ON TOP against Reigning World and Euro Champs, Liverpool.

Chaaaiiii... You just cannot script this. Lol

what did he do that ndidi cannot do?

He has 9 goals for his country. How many does Ndidi have for Nigeria? Zero.

He has better attacking qualities. He is faster. Defensively (Ndidi's only strength) he is at par with Ndidi.

In summary, he is more complete than Ndidi.

3-1 to Trabzonspor. His 10th league goal.

Now his stat reads 10 goals and 6 assists in 24 league games.

Ebola reached USA, but it didn't go as far, perhaps because the virus wasn't as potent in those parts, the same way Corona virus is not as potent in Africa.

Considering over 30,000 people have caught it worldwide and Africa can only account for 20 at most, out of which, not even up to 10 are actual Africans, does it not inform you that the virus is not as conducive in Africa? Or, you think anything the rest of the world has, Africa must have it too and in a worse form?

I hope you know Coronavirus have been declared a pandemic already

You saying Africa have 20 cases at most is a lie. It is spreading rapidly in Africa as well. South Africa alone have recorded 13 cases

Algeria, Tunisia, Morocco, Egypt, Senegal have also recorded their cases

More than 100 cases in Africa already if you don’t know with most cases been in Egypt

Bro Ebola wasn’t even pandemic. Coronavirus have been declared to be a pandemic that shows this virus is getting out of hand
chidi1:

Ebola is more infectious and deadlier than the corona virus (it is considered a biological weapon by some). The hysteria with the corona virus, I believe, is due to the unknown about the virus. Corona virus is not even as virulent as the initial SARS virus in 2010 or as infectious as the influenza virus. Also, have you considered the fact the the low rate in africa could be due to low testing. How many people in Nigeria, for example, would go to a hospital for flulike symptoms, except they are severely sick.

I have updated myself, the post you quoted is a day old anyway

Egypt has 59
Algeria 20
SA 13

Th rest, not more than 5, and certainly not spreading as fast as the rest of the world. The three most affected African countries have a substantial non-negroid population, if you followed the virus well enough, you would notice this. Still no African deaths, and it has been on the continent at least two weeks.

Of course it is a pandemic, by European, Asian and American standards.

I clearly said it is too early to make any calls in Nigeria, and even added that when the time comes, CAF/NFF will make a decision based on what is on ground

No games have been rescheduled in any part of the continent and the leagues are ongoing, so, as of now, nobody thinks it is a pandemic in Africa.

The people recording 59 cases today started from 1 as well and then it keeps increasing

We have recorded two cases already so why not take precautionary measures for it not to spread. It is a different thing if Nigeria don’t have any recorded cases, dem say na from clap dance dey start

Let me not bring in the break down, but this is just a screenshot of Partey and Ndidi's general strengths and weaknesses, to discount your bullocks from whoscored

Some of you will get drunk off one match, and come here to disgrace football analysis.

Ndidi clearly has NO weaknesses, meanwhile Partey's weakness is Concentration and DISCIPLINE, he was probably leaving his position open to go and score those 9 goals for Ghana, maybe if he sat where he was supposed to be, instead of trying to be CR7, the Ghana football team would have qualified for the last World Cup, and played better at AFCON

No misunderstand me baba.

You guys are calling for a qualifiers that's 3 weeks out to be played behind closed doors, but NPFL that plays weekly, I haven't seen anyone call for suspension or natch being played behind closed doors.

Qualifiers is 1 match. NPFL is almost 20 matches from now till then... MFM will play at home and probably spread it, which is your concern, the spread..

Let's do the right thing, call for NPFL before we jump to qualifiers that's to be played in a safe zone

Safari girl, you are a good soccer analyst. However, it would do you a world of favor if you avoid commenting on things you are not sure of. You are right that corona viruses (which also includes viruses that cause common cold) are not commonly spread in warm weather and are prevalent in colder climates. However, even though covid 19 is a corona virus, little is known about its transmissions in warmer climates. Of note, Iran which has a fairly warm climate has recorded a high rate of the disease. As I said earlier, it is possible that the low rate of diagnosis in Africa could be due to lower rate of testing for the disease. Using Nigeria as a reference, tests for the disease is restricted to very few laboratories. Doctors in Nigeria usually don't include the disease in the differential diagnosis of flulike presentations hence the disease is usually not tested. Most importantly, a typical Nigerian would not go to a hospital for mild flulike presentations.

this is the entire point that they are missing. Match is in three weeks and you are already talking about closed door game, when you have not made any precautions for the here and now

Anyway, NPFL games have been suspended, it was suspended after the death of that Nassarawa Utd player
