Zenith at IPO price 2004 grin grin grin

Same here. The last time I bought this was 16 years ago.

They should come again tomorrow at minus 10%.

I agree that there is no relationship but with the economic indices pointing to challenges ahead. How are we certain that the banks will be able to make the same earnings as they did last year? The quality of those earnings too. If this continues till the end of Q2, we may be witnessing the decline in banks profitability. Banks do not exist in isolation.

No relationship between stock price and dividend payments.

Dividends will be determined by the profitability of the company and not the share price

Where do we go from here? Is there respite insight? Given the events at the global level, things may likely get worse before they get better. Is NSE ready for the blow that will be dealt the economy? I don't think so. At this rate that dollar scarcity is hitting hard, expect more harsh fiscal policies from CBN. Dorm account owners will be first hit. Then, importers will face all kind of duties just to discourage dollar based import. Then, inflation will hit harder. Prices of goods and services will go up. Then, funding for projects will be cut by govt. Then, there won't be enough money in circulation.

Brace up people.

We will be alright las las.

Las Las,I become an investor under duress.

Jijo is only good during bull.

In a Janet bears like this, you either hold your cash and disconnect from market activities or you buy and discover yourself as an investor.

Nigerian banks have mastered the art and science of making money in the country no matter the direction of the economy.

The dividend paids by Zenith bank increased by 56% between the last recession of 2016 and 2020

At this price bro, who wouldn't? Even Agba has considered Zenith join.

We are waiting.

The NSEMPA30 Index is gradually moving towards an overwhelming majority vote that the time to buy is now. When people like Peterichy, myjoy etc join, NSEMPA30 will be in one accord and you can expect the "Pentecost" of a bull cheesy

Abeg, na NSEMPA analysis i dey do oo

Don't wait for Peterichy. He will always "buy Zenith" the day it turns around.

We have a long way to go....
By April/may, we will begin to see the impact; revenue will have dropped, reserve will be down and the heat will be much....

Till April means that Zenith will be at 50kobo if they maintain this full offer. grin

Bill Gates will even buy.

I am not regretting that prices of stocks are going down, I'm only regretting that I don't have enough cash to load more.

Exactly.. a whole country is on clock down now.. I’m soo scared man !

Yes. Read about Spanish flu.

You reduce the impact of the virus by holding it down where you notice it. That way it either dies with the people or people's immune system resist it.

China has reduced. SOUTH Korea has reduced. I believe Iran should be reducing.

It is US and EU we are waiting for.

It is the economic impact that we are waiting for. The EU was already going into recession even without the virus. So that same medicine that they would have used then, they will triple it and supply to prevent a recession or reduce the effect.

Now it is the contrarian approach we are apply.

At this rate, looks like Zenith Bank is heading to N5 junction. It's a tough pill to swallow, but when the money hits on Monday, we buy on Tuesday. It is well.

Buy based on the frequency of your cash flow. Some get cash flow on per seconds, minute, hour, daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly basis

nobody should buy until they announce cure for this virus and Saudi and Russia stop their oil war..
play safe guys.. it’s far better to miss some kobo when everything return back to normal than to try to catch the bottom..

If they announce a truce, door don lock o.

Make dem never announce o. They should announce next week the same time Jay Powell will do a massive cut.

But once they announce, door don lock. It will become 10 10% rise.

There’s joy in cherry-picking in bear market. It makes you richer when you’re patient. Oracle $ to Naira devaluation prediction is around 420. Please this is just my own rumor ooooo not from CBN.

Note: Don’t throw stone at me, I’m just trading my own facts not hope (emotions)

360 to 420 will be 14.2% devaluation.

DY is over 25%.

So I have beat devaluation. No capital appreciation yet o.

Before the oyinbos will bring in their USD, doors don lock. They will meet us in space. grin
