I agree that there is no relationship but with the economic indices pointing to challenges ahead. How are we certain that the banks will be able to make the same earnings as they did last year? The quality of those earnings too. If this continues till the end of Q2, we may be witnessing the decline in banks profitability. Banks do not exist in isolation. emmanuelewumi: 2 Likes |

TraDeRR: Yes. Read about Spanish flu. You reduce the impact of the virus by holding it down where you notice it. That way it either dies with the people or people's immune system resist it. China has reduced. SOUTH Korea has reduced. I believe Iran should be reducing. It is US and EU we are waiting for. It is the economic impact that we are waiting for. The EU was already going into recession even without the virus. So that same medicine that they would have used then, they will triple it and supply to prevent a recession or reduce the effect.
