NPFL is currently ongoing. There has been 40 matches scheduled to be played between now and the qualifiers in Asaba. MFM will be playing 2 matches at home. The league has not been asked to be played behind closed doors, not been suspended. No one here is even mentioning MFM and NPFL. According to you guys fears, MFM and NPFL constitutes much more fear than qualifiers in Asaba. Unless you're telling me Asaba match would pull more crowd than 40 NPFL matches. Charity begins at home. Let LMC call for league suspension and we can begin to talk about our qualifiers |

LaMujer:They should equally call for the markets and religious center to be shut down since we all want to copy what’s happening in Europe. I don’t know the basis people here are clamoring for the match to be played behind closed doors when everything else in Nigeria is going on as usual. |

chidi1:chidi, I don't know what kind of soccer analyst you are, but the moment I read this line, I was certain you are blissfully clueless about this virus and you have no business gauging someone else's knowledge Let me not delve into how pathetic it is, that you would spew the same inane trash that white people have been spreading to make themselves feel better about their own inability to detect this disease. Even WHO has applauded Africa for their response to the virus, but you believe they too, they don't know what they are talking about. Do you know that European airports were not testing travelers for the virus when they landed? Do you know the American tests go for as much as $3,000? Do you think 80% of the American population could afford testing? It spread because people could not even go to hospitals to get tested, because It was too expensive Some of you can never believe that the white men you worship are fallible, you will rather believe that Africa is not doing enough, than that Europe/America actually messed up. Let me tell you, if this virus was actually here, we would know. You know why? Because people would be dying at an alarming rate and someone would have spread word, the same way people were dying in a village in Bayelsa, and we heard it. The same way people died of Lassa fever in Ebonyi and we heard it. People are not falling and dying, the virus has not spread, Africa is the least affected continent, white people can't believe it, so, they have convinced gullible negros like you, that it is your fault that the cases aren't widespread, that somehow, your government can detect Ebola and Lassa fever, but Corona Virus is too advanced for their minds, that all of you live on trees and in huts, so, you would not be able to detect a virus amongst you. You are a brainless race, lesser beings, inferior to the caucasoid and mongloid races, you are incapable of handling anything within yourselves. Useless to the world and to yourselves. Chidi, that line you wrote, is a disgrace to your ancestors. 13 Likes |

safarigirl: Safari girl, your arguement is flawed. Ignoring the personal attacks, which speaks to your maturity, the disease has a mortality rate of 2 percent. Meaning, there are so many people that have the disease that are not dead. 2. People die daily in Nigeria after a short span of illness with no autopsy performed to determine the etiology of mortality. 3. The price of the test is not 3000 dollars. It is a 100 dollars per run. In the United States, it is covered by the insurance and Medicare WITHOUT ANY COPAYMENT. 4. Also, you don't know what I do for a living or my location to determine my experience on this disease. 3 Likes |

cc thesupernerd ...and other doctors here is it possible for human body to get sterilized without any deleterious effect? Am thinking since the virus can't thrive in warm environment, infected people can be healed by increasing their body temperature for like two days. |

Clearly outside the body, the virus won't survive under a temperature of about 60 degrees Celsius and above. But within the body, once the virus is in, there is actually no "known" way of killing it. The body's immune system just have to fight it off as the patient engage in the treatments leading up to recovery. So trying to expose your body to high temperature won't actually work. Raising your temperature above the normal 37 degrees Celsius to let's say 45 degrees C (which can kill a man too) still won't kill off the virus (but may see it lose its vialibility but what's the need when the host is already dead at this point). Even when you drink Hot water/fluids or have a hot bath, it won't exactly change your body temperature which remains stable thanks to homeostasis UNLESS you are ill. Additionally, I don't think the Human skin can "consistently" endure a 60 degrees C water bath or endure being exposed to a temperature of 60 degrees Celsius. mostob: |
