it's not like am supporting this ASUU strike but what I still don't understand is the reason(s) why this present government tends to neglect the needs of education by not in any way coming to a favourable terms with ASUU.

all this while that IPPIS was introduced and ASUU has been kicking against it, the federal government has only made their intentions known which is "it's either ASUU enrols to IPPIS or forget about being paid".

Ha ha ha. ASUU strike during the government of Western Education is Haram . This strike may last for ages - if it fully commences.

IPPIS 419 goes on. Heartless government has not paid some workers since January 2020.

I don't think they payed with the new minimum wage, but every academic staff was payed with an increments depending on ones level. University staff that enrolled received their salary this morning with the increment.

Non academic staff have been paid today. Ippis paid only consolidated , no minimum wage,no allowances and arrears.

They should have gotten it now. FCE, Polytechnics got theirs yesterday evening. Probably Non academic staff of Unis too.

It was implemented but with higher tax. So they gave with one hand and collected with both hands again. It favoured the junior staff thou.

Arrears should be paid soon.
