Omoakin180: Unfortunately for your comment, they are doing better than many southern states without security issues. Security challenges can not kill good ideas, it can not kill good leadership and credible governance. 4 Likes 2 Shares |

OP are you from gombe? And to some of yah saying buhari is using Nigerian's money to develop the north; I pray one day you'll learn how to comfirm some piece of shits before spitting out words. 80% of these pics are pictures showing gombe state. Most of the roads and buildings you seeing there were built during fmr Gov. Goje's tenure in gombe (70%) and fmr gov. Dankwambo's tenure. 8 Likes 2 Shares |

Stop deceiving yourself with these carefully-taken beautiful pictures. North is still backward in terms of education and development. Their political leaders are their major Problems. Their leaders are too selfish, they only care for themselves and their families. North has the richest man in Africa, and also the poorest man in the same Africa. North has 19 states, the majority, still they have highest number of illiterates and out of school children. 8 Likes |

Arrewa: No! I'm not deceiving myself, but the North, who's living in delusion. Even from the pit of hell, Satan doesn't have any fact that give you advantages over Eastern Nigeria. Next time, compare your development to Sudan, Chad, Niger, Somalia, and leave East out of your petty comparison. 8 Likes |

Susu888: The most important development is human development. Oil will finish in few years to come. Then we shall know how has the power to hustle smartly. How many abokis are into tech? How many are into virtual reality, machine learning, how many are into deep research. And why is North never ever talking of going on their own? The reason is simple: the private sector is mainly dominated by Southern Nigerians who do middle and large scale enterprice, the govt derive huge tax from this along with huge purchasing powers mainly from Southern Nigeria. Then the oil resources that comes from the South. The Southern Nigerians are very sure that they have the capacity to work and develop be it in the tech or any industry. It is our brain that gives us confident not buildings gotten from quota system and federal Character. 7 Likes |

Mind development is the issue Not concrete and steel When a legislator comes to the National Assembly to tell us about his own 20 children with pride YOU have a problem Polio Child marriage Almajiri Vesico vaginal fistula Hunger virus Those are the real development issues. Development starts in the mind That is why Japan and Germany which were nearly levelled by bombardment were able to bounce back to the top They could start over because of the contents of their minds All those photos show civil engineering projects built with funds from elsewhere and expertise from elsewhere You are still undeveloped If the coronavirus case had arrived in Kano we would be singing a very different song. That is expertise you cannot photograph 11 Likes |
