MasterKernel:hahaha you are damn wicked. They invest in infrastructures instead of investing in their populace. The final outcome is that souherners who reside in the north will make the most of the infrastructures eg a southerner who goes to work in the morning will make good use of the good roads with his or her car because almajiri has no car. Infact this is bad market for almajiri because all the cars will be on 120km and that means no go slows for the opportunity to beg. 1 Like |

Abagworo:Those things are not what counts as development especially when foreigners build them for you. Consider Cuba with all the sanctions they have better health and healthcare than most countries on a shoestring budget Why? Human development I repeat if coronavirus had landed at Kano or Kaduna airports we would have been in deep doodoo |

Look at our Niger Delta oil money . God will punish Rotimi Amaethief for using our oil money to develop the North building railways and good roads while there's no railway in the SS/SE, no good federal roads, no railway in Akwa Ibom state where the money came from. |

I think the north has been badly painted, only if u go there you will realize most of the bad things they paint about North is false. Just try and visit a place like Kano for instance even just for a day and see things for yourself 2 Likes 1 Share |

/ This is a very laudable achievement for the North. They finally decided to leave the Middle Ages and migrate into Third World with the rest of Nigeria--an achievement nonetheless. \ |

MasterKernel: Two of Africa's top Richest $ billionaires on the Forbes list (Abdulsamad Rabiu and Aliko) made their money from cement, not oil, CEMENT from the limestone rich soils of Northern Nigeria. Let that sink in. Better wake up and stop letting your leaders and media deceive you thinking you're better off while they rob you blind. |

Development is not about structures; it is about the people. What use is all the roads if less than 1% will ever afford to buy a car or motorcycle to use them, or when governments are banning bikes and making these infrastructure elitist in nature? What use are all the standard hospitals when the poor cannot afford to go there? What use are the schools when there are 10 million Almajiri in Kano alone? If indeed there was development, why is the UTME cutoff for the Northern states less than 100? Why is the failure rate in WASC and NECO exams so high? Mr OP, you need to take a course in international development to know what TRUE DEVELOPMENT IS. It is not in building structures (with oil money from Niger Delta) that the people cannot use because they are not empowered. This is not about the North alone. I also cannot see the impact GEJ had on the Niger Delta when he was in power. Oloibiri is still without power and water. The Niger Delta is still as undeveloped as it was. |

Arrewa: Home of Culture? YES! Home of Hospitality? NO! You people are heartless blood sucking demons. Yoruba land is the Home of Hospitality. That is why you people can come and settle here. What is the percentage of Yorubas in the North? Less than 0.1%. Only Igbos who can do anything for money including risking the the lifes of themselves and their family can live and sleep with you with both eyes opened so that immediately you start one of your numerous senseless killings, they run away only to come back after the hard drugs you took clear in your brains. I am really sad that you heartless blood sucking demons claim to be Muslims. Are you blood sucking characters what our Prophet Mohammed (SAW) preached? You vampires give Islam bad image through your senseless killings and aggressive behaviours. My friend, get away you. Home of Hospitality ko, Home of Senseless Killing ni. 1 Like |
