Germany waka is not the faint hearted, some people here that have not even started anything are losing hope from the start. Although, it is clear they are trying to cut the numbers as the numbers are increasing.
But what I still know is that what you believe is what you receive, let's fill our thoughts and mind with positivity.

I could remember sometimes last December that they categorically stated on their website the waiting period for CAT A is 10 months while for B is 12 months. I remember how we discarded the news here on this platform and with agreement of heart, we were confessing they would remove it and lo and behold, they removed it.

While it is wise to have an alternative plan, it is worth doing to be heads up with the struggle.

Please scholars when they say a course is restricted what does it mean?

it means there are little available space or rather a specific number they need for admission. In this case they will pick the best, more like over 1000 student vying for 100 admission slots, some 50 self. It is advised most times to still try the unrestricted courses for greater chances.

This is to encourage those who have faith & its the will of God for them. God still performs miracle for those who believe. cat A got AD for April within 2hours of booking using July ending as start date.

If you want to go as a student, you have to seek for admission, before you seek for admission you have to decide or know the course you want to go for and you will get admission more easily if you are going for the same course you did at the university ( that is if you are going for master's program). In seeking for admission go to daad.com and check schools and their requirements. After applying for the admission and the school gives admission that is when you will apply for appointment, then you will come accross the category stuff. Category means where you fall on. From April category A will be for scholarship student, PhD and first class student that graduate from January 2018 till date, apart from this students others are for category A

When it's clearly stated on their website that the new category A and B will take effect from 1st April.
