A40: Who wanted to tell you before? Go and ask your boss. This is why i always call you ajakaja40, you are terribly foolish. So once you didn't play pro soccer in Naija, you aren't good to play abroad. You are a certified odoyo, local bingo. |
Re: Official Chelsea Fan Thread: Champions Of Europe 2021 by BlueRayDick: 4:47pm On Mar 15, 2020 |
Victornezzar: NEMA is saying the explosion wasn't caused by a vandalized pipeline, but from a factory located around that area. But my concern is who approved factories to be built in residential areas when we have industrial Estates at ilupeju, isolo, ikeja etc with buildings either empty or converted to churches This country get plenty problem o. An area where residential buildings and schools are sited is the same place factories find suitable for business while industrial Estates scattered all over the state are being abandoned or getting bought over by religious centres. |
Re: Official Chelsea Fan Thread: Champions Of Europe 2021 by izzou(m): 4:53pm On Mar 15, 2020 |
BlueRayDick: As I type this, the flame is still up and burning I don't know if I should believe NEMA or not. Anyone living around Festac would how horrifying the blast was. I still don't know how a pipeline Explosion could have such an impact. Houses in Festac had their window panes shattered Maybe It wasn't a pipeline, but a factory? I don't really believe that |
Re: Official Chelsea Fan Thread: Champions Of Europe 2021 by Victornezzar: 4:57pm On Mar 15, 2020 |
BlueRayDick:Factory at Abule-ado?? That's not true....That was a pipeline explosion.... Na markets full Abule-ado... Glasses of cars were shattered... Houses were affected.... See speed wey I use take comot from church..... It's close to 72 road where I stay |
Re: Official Chelsea Fan Thread: Champions Of Europe 2021 by Victornezzar: 4:58pm On Mar 15, 2020 |

Re: Official Chelsea Fan Thread: Champions Of Europe 2021 by izzou(m): 5:01pm On Mar 15, 2020 |
Victornezzar: Lol Confirm Festac boy. Grew up there, moved out years ago, but I still dey fall in Was on 3rd Avenue, about to take a bike to 7th Avenue, when I hear the blast. I think say na plane crash. Car alarms just dey shout That Temple hill supermarket glass scatter. Even First bank for 23 road dey affected |
Re: Official Chelsea Fan Thread: Champions Of Europe 2021 by Victornezzar: 5:05pm On Mar 15, 2020 |
izzou:Mhen.. I be think Say God wan come on a Sunday oo ... It wasn't funny ooo..... One Trem church wey dey my side.... All their windows be scatter Some houses in 7th Avenue weren't spared.... Still seeing the flame right now |
Re: Official Chelsea Fan Thread: Champions Of Europe 2021 by BlueRayDick: 5:08pm On Mar 15, 2020 |
Victornezzar: Then there is more to that NEMA'S story then. Because for of.such magnitude, there must have been an explosive involved or something. I've seen pipeline explosion happened in the past and I doubt there's been any of such that shattered windows of houses and cars like this one |
Re: Official Chelsea Fan Thread: Champions Of Europe 2021 by izzou(m): 5:09pm On Mar 15, 2020 |
Victornezzar: And them dey say na Factory? Why is the flame still up? Today was scary mhen. My guy living there went to church with his family. Came back to find his flat in rubbles This 2020 come be like say e too long |
Re: Official Chelsea Fan Thread: Champions Of Europe 2021 by BlueRayDick: 5:11pm On Mar 15, 2020 |
izzou: I guess people staying around that area will know for sure if there's a factory around the area or not àbí, when no be say north Korea dey test missile how windows just shatter like that? I know pipeline fire do raze down buildings nearby and all, but the way buildings around this area were either damaged or collapsed out rightly is suspicious o |
Re: Official Chelsea Fan Thread: Champions Of Europe 2021 by izzou(m): 5:12pm On Mar 15, 2020 |

Re: Official Chelsea Fan Thread: Champions Of Europe 2021 by Victornezzar: 5:16pm On Mar 15, 2020 |
izzou:Almost all the cars close to the scene were affected Na that secondary school I pity pass.... Don't know whether some girls there made it because the smoke was too much and it even affected their buildings... Directly opposite to the pipeline Na all these vandals na |
Re: Official Chelsea Fan Thread: Champions Of Europe 2021 by izzou(m): 5:20pm On Mar 15, 2020 |
Victornezzar: I doubt if people no go die for that kind incident Our response to emergencies in this country is very poor. I wonder what local governments do with their funds. No fire service, no ambulance, absolutely nothing |
Re: Official Chelsea Fan Thread: Champions Of Europe 2021 by BlueRayDick: 5:22pm On Mar 15, 2020 |

Re: Official Chelsea Fan Thread: Champions Of Europe 2021 by izzou(m): 5:25pm On Mar 15, 2020 |
BlueRayDick: Truly suspicious, brother If you were in Lagos during the Ikeja cantonment explosions in the early 2000s, today was somehow like it. The difference is today was just one blast, but exactly like that |
Re: Official Chelsea Fan Thread: Champions Of Europe 2021 by Victornezzar: 5:34pm On Mar 15, 2020 |
izzou:Bed for don full na All those guys staying in that locality are to be blamed.... Even the military officials too... We're just way too corrupt Collecting bribe from vandals... They don't even care about human lives |
Re: Official Chelsea Fan Thread: Champions Of Europe 2021 by BlueRayDick: 5:39pm On Mar 15, 2020 |
izzou: I was in Lagos, in fact I wouldve been a victim along with my elder sister. We were only saved by sheer luck. The date is 27th January 2002. We had attended a weeding of a relative along with our parents a day before at jakande, isolo. We were to return to iyana ipaja that Sunday afternoon to prepare for school on Monday while our mum stayed back with the bride's parents. We had the option of going to iyana ipaja via oshodi or via ìkọrin route. If we had gone tru Oshodi, would either have jumped into òkè afa carnal along with those who died there or get trampled upon at oshodi in the stampede that resulted from the bomb explosions. We followed ìkọtun and didn't even get to synagogue before the explosions rocked the air. We were scared and didn't even know whether pressed forward to go home and meet our dad or turned back to jakande isolo and meet our mum. My sister decided on the latter and we met our mum on her kneels praying fervently for God to keep her kids safe. That day is one terrible day. I kid u not, I saw agberos confessing their sins live and direct. If today's explosion is.anything close to what happened that day, then somebody really needs to do some serious investigations. Firefighters should not just put out the fire, anti-bomb squad should be made to investigate and scan the area for shrapnel or something. They shouldn't just sweep this under 5 Likes |
