For how long? Mine was stuck on same status for 2 weeks, called them and sent mails to them. Even sent messages on Twitter. They’ve updated it and given completion date.

Please i put my BSc and Masters degree for verification but I am intrested in the Msc verification for now. I have sent in my Msc transcript and certificate to WES and it's acknowledge by WES. I just included my 1st degree for verification for future purposes. My question is

1. Will WES wait till I send in my 1st degree transcript before the commence verification of my Msc?

2. Even if WES decides to continue with my Msc will the wait till I send in my 1st degree transcript and evaluate it before they send in my Msc or both report?

I really dont want my 1st degree to cause any delay thats why i am asking.

From the little I understood, even though I stand corrected, WES will always want to evaluate your 1st degree because it is the basis for ur 2nd degree.
I will advise you do everything possible to send in your 1st degree transcript in order to avoid any delays. A stitch in time...

I have 2 Master's degrees: MSc ń MBA. Should I evaluate both or one.
My first degree is Chemical Engineering
Second is MBA
Third is Industrial and Production Engineering.

I didn't go through ETX-NG; I had a contact at Exams and Records (who also works for ETX-NG). So I was dealing with the guy directly. My verification has been sent to WES; my profile on WES was updated mid last week. My ECA report should be out on 6 June. I think you should pay ETX-NG; apparently, it takes a while for WES to acknowledge verification; so the earlier the better.

I was issued a western union means of payment via the wes platform but on getting to Gtbank, it was another story of haven to open a Dom. Account.

Hi guys . need your help on this. I applied to Wes to have my transcript evualated, paid the required evaluation fee, about 290 dollars after which my school sent my transcript to Wes via dhl. Five days later Wes sent my credentials back to my school for verification and my document has been with my school for a week now. So I went to my school to find out why they've not verified and replied Wes, they said Wes is suppose to pay them 100dollars before verifying my credentials so they emailed Wes to remit the money to the school account two days ago but Wes is yet to reply my school. If you needed it badly, my brother/sister you had better pay it. $100 should not stop your progress. That is Nigeria for you. To get things done fast, you have to learn to pay extra Large. FACT.

We plenty for this stage.
I finally decided to pay courier for wes to send verification to Unilag. I sent a mail to wes today hopefully they will respond soon so i can pay and get it done with.

Maybe Unilag is waiting for you to pay verification fees? I was in your shoes, though different schools. I was waited for months for my school to verify transcripts, only to realize that they dumped it aside, waiting for me to come pay verification fee. It seems most schools charge verification fees.

So if you can't get them on the phone, try go down there yourself or ask someone to go on your behalf. Its frustrating, but that's how a lot of Nigerian institutions are structured.

What i did was to send an email to someone at the records office. For my transcript to be sent i had to send an email to the VC after 4months of paying for transcripts, got a resoonse from the Vc and my transcript was sent that week. Wes got it. So i just searched for the email of someone at the records office last week to help me and that’s it!

WES has to find a way to review this process.

This verification process is frustrating.

Just make photocopies of the documents, and use Biro/ pen to write your WES reference number on top of the document,,, before you scan it, make sure the copies are clear and legible. if u must use ur original documents use pencil to faintly write the wes reference number, you can erase it when you are done. you will be amazed how quickly WES will respond.( A trial will convince you)

As soon a s your report is ready, you can always login to your WES profile and download it as many times as you want, it is always there, you can be using that document until it arrive by the post, there is no difference anyway.

Fund ur current account if you have and pay via internet banking, the issue of dollar will not even come into play as the process is quite seamless and straightforward! I did mine same way
