I'm not xiaomi user but i dont believe that statement unless u tell us the specific model u are using and we go to DXOmark and other youtube reviews to confirm that.

Their pictures might not be as perfect as the latest flagship but can never be worst than 4 years old phone.
For a midrange phones, u needs to be ready to sacrifice some basic perfection u will normally get from flagship but not as bad as u v painted it.

You even get power to reply am sef.

I dey use one now sef and u are here comparing cams. The 48mp I have here bad. My s7 edge cam of many years ago beat am hands down. I don't understand why una turn here to Xiaomi worship centres instead of telling the-would-be users that the only advantage against other smart mid rangers is just the price.

Make una continue o.

Who's hyping the brand?

I gave my opinion based on my experience with the brand. Any sensible person would do that too. Stop trying to stir issues where there is none. Enjoy your so called S7 edge in peace and leave men to enjoy theirs too in peace.

You stated you don't know why we turned here to Xiaomi worship center. Now I ask you, what do you expect from a Xiaomi thread? To worship Samsung? Go to your thread and worship your Samsung in peace na.

Now, let me drag you back to class. One of the tenet of marketing is that, manufacturers manufactures quality products with the hope that satisfied customers and/or users will give a positive review and that was what I did.

As an added bonus, tell us you need help with how to make your camera better. @atheistandproud will gladly help in that aspect. He's so good. He uses same RN7 as you grin grin. No be everybody sabi use camera. I saw one person on the photography thread that took a dope picture with his 8mp back camera. I'm certain that any picture you'll take with your S7 edge can't beat it.

That thread will help your photography skills on even a 5mp rear camera phone.

A question, shey I kill your dog by giving positive review based on my experience?

I was reading this thread of explotion on nairaland, and I saw this conversation between the op of the thread who snapped the pictures of the scene and a guy was asking the op that what type of camera he used. Xiaomi is a great phone not by mouth.

Nairaland phone grin grin... Kuku kii me. But this is kinda true. Majority of people that use Xiaomi in Nigeria are either Nairaland folks or they're somewhat connected to someone from Nairaland. I have 2 people who bought Redmi 8 all because of my recommendation. They've been spreading the gospel too. So it's kinda true
Not totally true though, although I've converted 9 people, I've also met people that use redmi note 8 and they don't even know there's a thread on NL. I recently met with one, after installing gcam for him (which he had never heard of prior to this incident), he use one full day thank me, he say na God send me come. Lmao

Which Redmi phone did you use in late 2019?

I'm guessing Redmi Note 8, 8 Pro or Redmi 8.

If it is, it's part of the devices I'm talking about.

All Redmi series after Redmi 7 series launched with Google dialers with no call recorders for global markets. Do you get it now?

And no, the law didn't affect Xiaomi phones only. It affects all brands ranging from Samsung, Huawei, LG, iPhones. Just name it.

Redmi note 8T, got it in January though.

Redmi Note 8T was made specifically for the European Market so it must be affected.

In terms of processing, the Lenovo is really better, but I will go for the note 7 anyday because of software support, plus it has a bigger battery, the Lenovo looks more beautiful though.

Thought as much. The Redmi 8 series are part of the devices affected. That was why I added that the last Redmi devices to have call recorder on their dialers are the Redmi 7 series.

You are correct, i can use any of those expensive brands if they give me what i want but it doesnt make anysense to buy expensive brand because u want to feel rich. You can't claim another brand cant match those expensive brands because that is a lie. Imagine latest iphone claiming full charge under 1h while my stolen huawei can do that since late 2018 and the realme x2 pro i'm eyeing can do that in 25minutes.
So if u check every box, most top midrange phones can match and surpass what ever those expensive brands can offer.
If u are buying it because u want to feel rich, in 12 months time another one will be released and ur phone will be old and u will feel poor and outdated again.
I paid attention to that statement when I came across a movie. The guy was even using a Porsche. he was like... a manufacturer will bring out a product and loud its attributes and good features. After a while, they release an update and then give you reasons to hop on to the new release and you start feel archaic. This they normally do by pointing out the faults in the "old school" model that they were silent about, earlier on. Indeed, you can never catch up wit technology. Just get a piece that you can endure "thick and thin" with
