In requesting for my transcript, I didn't know of transcript request form. My transcript has gotten to noun Abuja but I know that there maybe problem cos I no attach the transcript request form.
What should I do?
I think you will likely be contacted if there are cases that my affect your admission. A case is of a woman who sent her PGD transcripts for M.Ed application and she got contact to forward her Degree Certificate so the PG School can decide on her application. I guess they will contact you if there is need for you to forward that to them.

Samisha500:
HOW TO REQUEST FOR TRANSCRIPT

➡After payment, applicant goes back to the form to complete its remaining section. If the prima facie admission requirements are met, the applicant is notified of successful submission and prompted to print the “Conditional Offer” letter.

➡ They are then requested to print out their Transcript Application Form; the form is forwarded along application for transcript whether at NOUN or outside, and the applicant has the responsibility to ensure that they request their alma mater to attach the form to the
transcript when sent.

➡All transcripts are to be addressed to the Secretary, School of Postgraduate Studies or pgadmissions@noun.edu.ng.

➡Once received, an applicant‟s transcript is forwarded to the appropriate Department for evaluation. If the Department is satisfied, they grant admission, or deny admission if the applicant‟s academic standing is below the Departmental requirements. Either way, the applicant will get an email notification.

➡If successful, the applicant will be directed via email to print the Admission Letter and proceed to the Study Centre for final clearance (the Study Centres are to carryout their usual screening by ensuring that the originals of all the relevant credentials are
presented).

➡Only if applicant‟s transcript is received at the School of Postgraduate Studies will it be forwarded to the Department. Also, only if the Department has granted admission will the Study Centre be able to clear and issue matriculation number.

➡Note that student‟s copy of transcripts or transcripts sent from private emails are not actionable

What happens if the transcript request form doesn't accompany the transcript?
I don't think mine accompanied it

Please for those who requested their transcript to be sent from their school directly to NOUN Abuja via online means, where does the transcript request form come in?

This is just too unprofessional.

They should at the very least inform us of receipt or non receipt of the transcript while we await the admission decision.

I have written severally and sent reminders without response.

Please I have a very Important question.

From the course outline given from the department, Computer science direct entry is suppose to take 110 core courses and at least 10 elective to graduate.

I just went through the stated core courses now, 100-400l Com Science core courses total is 122, from 200l to 400l plus all compulsory GST and CIT in 100l, total core courses = 96, core courses from 200-400l alone = 80.
How exactly is a student supposed to accomplish 110 core courses when the available core courses for his/her department and programme is 96 in total.

Do they actually want direct entry students to take all 100l core courses other than GST and CIT, because that is the only way one can achieve 110 core courses as direct entry for graduation.
