68816419:Actually Most parts of Nairobi are middle class. The slums you try to magnify and make them look large are infact tiny wards within high end middle Constituencies. Kibra is just a small pinch within the greater Lang'ata suburbs. This is what covers most of Nairobi's land 3 Likes

Mathare slum just got it first schools The blue, 3-story building (top left corner) is the miracle in Mathare—the new school in the Mathare slum, Nairobi, Kenya. It is a testimony to God’s inability to ignore the cries of His children. 1 Like 1 Share

It stretches along the Nairobi Ngong river, situated on waste lands in the industrial area of the city with the folowing villages Mukuru kwa Reuben, Mukuru kwa Njenga, Sinai, Paradise, Jamaica, Kingstone, Mariguini, Futata Nyayo and Kayaba. The slum has been a home of many recognized artists, sports personality, actors and other talents: Patrick Oboya is one of the most celebrated footballers in Kenya who was born and raised in Mukuru, Kayaba. Kawangware Slum Population: 300 000 This slum's population is comparable in size to: Hobart, Australia Kawangware has a scarcity of safe drinking water. Water supplied by the city authority is not available every day and is otherwise expensive. Many people in Kawangware are (no evidence) HIV-positive. Dandora slum Population: 300 000 This slum's population is comparable in size to: Bonn, Germany Dandora is one of Nairobi's Eastern suburbs and one of its biggest slum areas. Posh estates aren't connected to the sewer line. Their septic tanks are sucked up once full. - Both the honey suckers & water vendors provide the same service. - The same truck which emptied your septic tank will bring you clean water for drinking. 68816419: So How the Hell do you compare Kibra with the rest of Western Nairobi. Kibra can't even fit in a 6 lane highway and you are here claiming its the largest slum in Africa simply because you buy fake NGO reports in the internet . Below is the actual size of Kibra compared to half of Nairobi West. 1 Share
